Look at the tab name of the AutoCAD drawing at the top left of the first picture. It says "frame Line Skillet 2D compare to JK"

Definitely the new 12-bolt Axle/Diff, too bad the file name doesn't help decode/guess the model name from Dana.

I was hoping some filename with a Dxx combo or 2 digit combo in there would give a hint, but it seems like a generic number string that starts with FC... and containing AAW and random numbers. If it was AAM then that could've been American Axle, but it's not, and Dana is definitely the JL supplier.

Dang, super curious about that Diff, especially since they haven't had a 12-bolt since the D28, and this refresh should add strengh over the D44 but not weigh as much as a D60.

Can we make any educated guesses on the wheelbase, length and bed size based on this?

How high will the bed have to be to clear the coil suspension? Not that it really matters since I will probably lift it, but still curious.

Ok. So thinking out loud here based on specific comments above. Correct me if you think I am wrong. File name is "2D vs JK." I don't work in the auto industry so standard abbreviations may be set. But does this mean there is confirmation of a 2 door JT? Thus far, as far as I know, it's only speculation since only a 4 door mule has been spotted. Wondering because 2D could be 2 door or 2 dimensional (plane view in drawing). Will JT have different frames for 2 and 4 door. Thoughts?

Well there's definitive proof that there's a 'mystery' housing on the RH side of the axle housing. Are we going back to the days of an axle disconnect??

The front axle is fitted with CV-jointed axle shafts, which someone in another thread had said was specific to the Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system, which itself was limited to the Sahara edition. Does this mean that the JT will have both a Sahara edition and the availability of Selec-Trac? Or will the JT always be equipped with the CV axle shafts?

It also seems as if all we've seen so far for front axles is that mystery 12-bolt axle. Does this mean that all JLs and JTs will be equipped with the same front axle? No more D30 vs D44? (the axle in the CAD image appears to be missing the Rubicon locker fitting...)

Another interesting note: the rear discs are vented, pointing to them being larger than the current JK's discs. Why though, does the far rotor appear larger than the near rotor?
