They look like they will hold up as well as any I've had. For the price they seem nice.Looks good, do they look like they'll hold up well, scratch easily?
All I had to do was remind them I have a matching spare. After-all, they sold me the 5 tires and installed 'em originally. But they always to the five tire rotation if someone has matching spares and a lot of Grand Cherokees had just that so they were used to doing it, just not with the JT.
Put up my JCR roof rack today. Still waiting on my JCR Bed Rack to arrive. Also used a tap on the bed holes today which had rhino liner all over them in preparation for me installing my bedrug and Builtright rails tomorrow.
On another note opened my box of my Arcus bumper to find out it was missing almost all of its components except the bumper shell. And for me to now wait for a replacement it could be 2-3 months. Worked with the seller to return it and get a great deal on a HD full width bumper with overrider instead. Oh the joys of current world affairs.

Wasn't hard to replace the lower dash speakers. I've done it three times and I feel I can do it with my eyes closed. This week, I install the MB Quart MBQJ-STG6A-1 six speaker kit (the Ampro comes with the kit). The kit has everything needed to upgrade the dash, knees and soundbar for incredible sound improvement. I have to say it’s one of the best mods I’ve done by far. The sound improvement is night and day better over the Alpine 8.4 Premium system IMO. It was 4 days of pain for the installation, but well worth the time and money. I was never satisfied with the OEM system even with adding a few other aftermarket speakers, just never was enough. I’m 100% convinced this is the way to go for plug & play without completely breaking the bank for the DIY person.
I was also able to keep my OEM sub and tie in my aftermarket Kicker Hideaway 8” sub as well. If going this route, just connect the Ampro harness connections to allow for retaining the OEM amplified system to keep the OEM sub. The Kicker 8” sub can get its signal from the RCA jacks to the Ampro R/L sub plug in locations. Here are some pictures of the project and I highly recommend this kit.
Sound exceeded my expectations,

Keep the Ampro a couple inches away from these two pipes when mounting inside the glove box. These pipes get pretty hot.

I faced the Ampro update date port outward in case there are future firmware update and will be easy access. Note: The blue remote wires will need to be spliced.

Went ahead and added the MB Quart additional sub amp, wiring and making it ready for another sub in the future.

Hush Mat added to the new 6.5” pods

Polyfil too.

Major dash disassemble, but very doable.

New 6x9 installed. I used a hot knife to cut it out where needed around the template and never actually removed the soundbar.
Glad it is over, but even more glad I did this mod!
Agreed, it was my second time replacing the knee pods/speakers and much better than the first time. However, I’m good if it’s never needed again. I actually found empty screw holes and replaced two left over screws from the first time, so another quick win.Wasn't hard to replace the lower dash speakers.
