If I may chime in, I had ordered this rack to mount it up front as well. Upon viewing the mounting instructions video on the JCR site, it referenced that the short rack ships with two “R” mounts, whereas the full has “F” and “R”, as in front and rear. I reached out to JCR at that point with my plans, asking for the F and R set and they advised that the short rack was not meant to be mounted forward, and would not supply the F mount (even when I offered to buy it). Looks to be a great rack, and their customer service was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just wanted to share.

Rotated the tires. It was my first time doing it myself (Jeep Wave). At roughly 90 lbs a corner, I wasn’t looking forward to it, but it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. I just grabbed the wheels by the spokes and held them close to my chest and it was surprisingly minimal effort. I thought it would be way more awkward.

Didn’t have a chance to get out and go into the National Forest today. So spent a few hours installing our diesels Hauk Snorkel and put in the Ram mount for our tablet.

Hike-It X9. Ordered this on Black Friday and forgot about it. Just did the install…minutes…just plug and play and zip tie up the wires. Already had the saddle tray that goes in that area and there was perfect little spot for it. Tested the different modes and can really tell the difference. Mainly interested in Eco for highway (and off road…slower throttle response is suppose to be helpful), and the Security feature where it renders your throttle unresponsive. Will see how it works out long term.

I've been really happy with mine. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it definitely wakes up the 3.6.

I typically leave mine in cruise #3 so far. The performance mode was fun, but I could hear the gas being sucked out of the tank lol. I'll save it for running on dunes or sand when I go out west.

I put my control in the glove box as I don't think I'll be switching it often.
