Nothing on your list will make you happier than a lift and nice set of wheels with 37's.

Get a Mopar lift, slap a set of 37's on the stock Rubicon wheels and call it a day! Far from 6k

Based on what you said, you do light trails, you will not need brakes and axles anytime soon based on the driving habits you indicated!

however its up to you...your jeep your happiness and wallet
OP probably has 3.73 gears and standard width D44s, so that wouldn't be a great fit.

CAI doesnt do anything other than noise, dont bother. Rest of it seems like a solid plan.

Could also do something like the AEV 2" Spacer lift (~500) with mopar arms (~70 bucks), and some narrower 35's like the kenda klevers on your stock rims and then some of the items from your current list. Thats what I did on the wife's 4xe and i think with tires and lift we were under 1700 bucks mounted.

If you are not going to lift it and you are going to 4wheel, Protect your rear lower control arm brackets that attach to the frame. Those scrap the most. Cheap armor and you get the most hits for the money.

Personally, I 4wheel a lot. Before I did my lift kit, I installed the skids linked above and the Rockhard Control arm bracket skids on all my lower control arms and shock brackets. In addition, I bought Metalcloak diff covers and diff skids. It is not that much money for a lot of protection.

If you have the basics of water, food, shelter, warmth, and sleep covered I'd say what you spend your money on now is experiences. Get out there and enjoy. Make a list of the things you wish you had and get rid of the things you don't use. Hone your kit. Stuff is a sad substitute for experience. The money is much better spent on the experiences you've been building your rig for. Just my .02. ~ E

I know…I know…. Different people different viewpoints. Before the increase in size of tires, I’d add factory LED headlights. This will lessen the pucker factor while driving at night with also having an increased stopping distance do to the larger heavier tires.

I’ll add that after market LED’s have a sharp cut off, which I find irritating. A little spill is a good thing. It allows you to see the shiny beady little eyes or silhouettes of bodies of objects in front of you.

Ok, if this site was for practical people (in reference to our jeeps and money), then that would be a good answer. There is no fun or enjoyment in that.

That would be great, but that's way above my knowledge level to install myself.

That's a silly thing to do. Why pay off something that's just "normally" depreciates in value? It's rare that anyone keeps the vehicle all the way through pay off. Just use the banks money to have a fun vehicle. Once you're done with it and on to a 2026 Jeep Scrambler Mojave Wrangliator XLT wagon, you will still be playing with the banks money on that one.

Make a large payment and get it paid off sooner.

I’ve paid off my house and last four vehicles. It’s a great feeling not paying interest or owing that money. It’s all fun money after that. To each his own.
lol more than half of my house payment goes to property taxes. So while I see the appeal in principal (oo pun!), it sucks to know I can't get rid of most of that payment anyways.

This is purely my opinion, but like you mine is mostly on the street and I don't have plans of going crazy:

1. LED headlight housings. Don't do just the bulbs, it'll be just as bad as the halogens. You want the full projectors. It'll cost more, but it'll be worth it.

2. The mirrors, since you like taking the doors off - that just makes sense.

3. Soft top and/or hoist

If you have money left at this point, I still would not pay off the loan early unless you have a high interest rate. Once you get below 3% I don't see the value vs just throwing it into an index fund.

4. Soft doors. Not my taste but I see the appeal

Skip the aux switches until you have a concrete plan to use them
Skip the CAI, unless you just want it to make more noise.

My favorite mod so far is the speaker upgrade for my 5" unamplified stereo. I also like the Borla type S cat back exhaust upgrade on my JL and prefer that over a CAI. I really like the sound of that exhaust.
