I just ordered the AEV 2" spacer kit, which comes with 2" bump stop extensions. Has anyone here tried the puck reduction/delete on a spacer kit? It makes sense but I see a lot of comments about axle-engine clearance so that makes me nervous. Thx.
I picked up 1" spacers for the front just to add an inch before bump stop contact while I wait to make a permanent decision on a lift.
I think that will go a little ways to mitigating the issue without throwing the rest of the geometry out of whack.

Another thought is that the bump stop is still in the same location relative to the body so technically maximum uptravel is not being increased, it's just getting a lower start.

I live up ~ 5 miles of dirt road that is generally in pretty good shape, but it does have its occasional hole. Driving the JT up in stock form I've had to be way more careful about my speed and my line. My TJ (4" AiRock on radflos), my 04 F350 and the Subaru's deal with the road much better.

My stop gap has been :
https://teraflex.com/shop/suspensions/jt-progressive-bump-stop-kit-front-rear-0-4-5-lift.html

Which hit a little sooner, but all in the bad bangs are gone (and well I've adjusted my driving). Waiting for a Hi-Cap AEV lift or for Steve to get the AiRock ready for the JT (I know there's a gas rubi in testing, haven't bugged him about it lately).

To me it really feels like the shocks could use a bit more high speed compression dampening.

I'm curious if the Rubicon (Fox) shocks are gas charged.

I put 1" teraflex spacers up front (along with an Arcus bumper and 13k winch) and the ride is completely different. Not as harsh. Haven't bottomed it yet though not really trying to, but even with the extra weight, it feels like a much better ride.

I don't really know the anatomy of gas charged shocks but hear tell they are a firmer ride and if that's the case I wonder if the extra 1" gets the piston out of the gas and into the fluid? Am I reading this right?

Either way, for those with this problem who are waiting on a solution from Chrysler and don't want a proper lift, this may be your ticket in the meantime.
Driveability is identical including 80mph test on the freeway. Front end doesn't feel loose or unplanted as some have stated with lifts where control arms are not added.

Hey all, I am hearing a few people claiming on a few jeep gladiator groups on facebook that their dealerships are giving the mopar lift for free as a fix.

Has anyone heard of this happening? I am really curious. @JeepCares is this indeed a thing? If so I think its good of jeep to do this. Should I contact my dealership?

You’re free to give it a try. I think they’ll say no. Only one guy claims to have gotten that done and it was probably an experiment on Stellantis’ part.

Ugh why don't they just get it over with and do it for us. That's stupid.

Is it possible to add another poll to " had stock suspension, jeep wave covered lift kit and bottoming out is fixed". I would like to change my vote and I just posted this on the other thread.

I have an update on my JTRD getting fixed and it is good news!
I just had my suspension swapped for the 2" lift kit and it was paid for by Jeep Wave. Just before my JTRD was fixed there was another just like it that was fixed and paid for by Jeep. I have a case number you can reference at the bottom and inside that it should reference the other case number, the process it to get ahold of Jeep Wave and tell them the issue, give them the case numbers and then go to the deal to get a diagnosis. Once it is diagnosed the dealer has to agree to Jeep Wave paying for it. Jeep Wave will call and work this out with the dealer. I had to go to two dealers because the first was not responsive. I know there is a fix coming out this qtr. but if you want to try and get it fixed now this is the process.

BTW I was very impressed with how the case manager at Jeep Wave handled this situation.

Who's the case manager?
I'm chasing this down as well, thanks to @Pike1892 post. I've called Jeep Cares and had them open a new case for me, (I had an old case open but they closed it a few weeks ago). My case manager looked up the case number that Pike1892 put in his post, and she was able to figure out the process. It should work that you set up an appointment at your dealer, get the dealer in touch with your JeepCares rep, and they work out a warantee reimbursement direct to the dealer, so their is no out of pocket.

I'm still working on getting the dealer hooked in with JeepCares. Slowness on the dealer side.

2021 JT Rubicon 1,900 miles, bottoms out when driven over slight dips at low speeds. Made multiple/hrs. of phone calls to no avail. From factory came with SDD Performance Fox suspension.
Does Mopar 2” lift remedy the bottoming out documented problem?
Does Mopar 2” lift contribute to (death wobble) with more mileage?

Update, Jeep people called me monday. They called my dealership and I have an appointment with them to diagnose the issue on the 8th. I pray they don't go telling me it doesn't have an issue. I know it exists. Ill email the guy on the 8th when I take it in and hopefully this will be resolved. Knowing me, I am going to push for the mopar lift.
