Today was a big day. I picked up some second hand, third hand and even home made parts and accessories. I’m one step closer to being able to camp comfortably without towing a camper, so obviously opens things up a bit.

installed bed rails, Softtopper and a bed rack that has these clever brackets that detach from tubing so it can hinge or come off quickly

Also got a stick suspension set of parts from a Rubicon gladiator with about ten thousand miles on it. I know I can’t use the springs with my diesel sport, but I’m wondering whether the shocks will help me in any way. Anyone with first hand knowledge on this? I’ll post the numbers from the stick diesel sport shocks.

Made some garage door hangers. Followed the tutorial a certain Jeep YouTuber/blogger created. It was very simple, each set is 3x 2-foot 2x4s bolted together in a U shape, bolted to the wall, and a couple eyelets on the tops of the “U” to place the door pegs. Rode around all day for the first time with the doors off. So much fun!!!

Had a big day today for my queen. I made my own washers with the help of my son & painted them black. Then I ripped out the rear fenders, took off the crappy rear sway bar, installed a rockjock antirock rear swaybar, cut/installed rugged ridge plastic inners, installed rivnuts and “bolted with my fancy homemade washers” with my split fenders… due to time constraints & swearing & broken/missing tools & broken bolts (which I didn’t know I was so manly), the front will be done… hopefully tomorrow. I also hope I don’t swear as much either lol

Same question. I received one the other day in Carrollton, GA. First time I’d heard of this. I just put it on a wrangler at the liquor store. Bad juju.

My understanding is during the lockdown, some people found bread baking or doing a home renovation as a way to pass the time. Some found Jeep Ducking, when you find another Jeep in the wild, you leave a rubber duck somewhere on it for the owner to find. The goal is that they’ll post a photo of it on social media, and then pass the duck along to keep the game going. It’s a way to make a person’s day a little more “ducky”.

One of the visor threads stated that they needed to trim the actual visor for the double hole model, to clear and be fully functional

You can sand down the clip instead of trimming the visor. Works great.

A local shop had the Amp bed step in stock so I decided to get it. I had been on the fence about it, but with the Mopar lift, decided to do it. Surprised how great it is. It doesn't look as out of place as I thought it would, and is well positioned for getting up into the box from the curb side, which is probably best anyway.

If anybody is wondering about my choice of tires there…. They are 315/70r17 Nokian LT3 winter tires I decided to put on the stock rims. They are a load range D and will be better for pulling a sled trailer in the winter.
I have some 37/12.5r17 KO2’s on AEV Borahs waiting for summer use.

Yito Motor Tonneau cover came in today. Got it put on with lots of fiddle factor. Still some tweaking - didnt put the weather seal on yet - waiting to see how everything lined up. So far happy with purchase. Pics after I finalize everything tomorrow.
Note I had to take off my DIY trail rails - may look for different brackets to hold rails on.

Added the weather stripping, finalized alignment.
