The airbag deploys from below that panel. IMO if your in a scenario where the airbags deploy the additional plastic of that cover wont make a difference.

realistically the trays that we all have in our passenger side grab handles pose more of a danger since it sits directly under the airbag and allows us to pile crap in it that would sit directly in the airbag’s path.

I agree with Gren71. Thanks sir! I actually also have a gooseneck monitor mount on that front grab handle. I have positioned it as far as I could for the airbag and also to be able to open the glove box. I only use it when towing my tt.

As like any other mods here, do/apply at your own risks. Good observation XJFanatic.

Just finished with adding the bed outlet. Alfaodb can activated the feature. Just needed to set Inverter on/off switch to YES. Picture below shown what is needed to removes to replace the switch bezel.

Been considering this but I’m too lazy to take all the dash panels off. If it was just the one that needed to be replaced I think I’d go for it.

Unfortunately not. The weld on the other side of the tube that attaches the tube to the bracket was nowhere near straight. The overall quality wasn’t up to my standard either. Pretty poor paint job. Got another brand coming on Monday

Much improved steering! Crazy that the stock Tie Rod Ends & Drag link shot after short 6,000 miles.

As soon as I pull them off the tie rod ends flopped over. Video clip is of the clicking

New RockJock Curie tie rod assembly and drag link installed. Aligned today and drives way better than stock.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Everyone’s rigs are looking sharp. I built a DIY rack to hold my doors and added some Amazon special Made in China doors. I’m actually pretty impressed with the doors. For $600 they are solid and come with mirrors. My only complaint is the installation instructions could be a little better and more accurate, but otherwise, these doors are good to go. I wish I had gotten them sooner.
