Completed the Mojave hood swap and installed the ARB Classic Deluxe bumper with Smittybilt Gen 3 10k winch. I am digging the light on the winch.

Now I just need to fill the square holes in the bumper, it is weird ARB left those unfinished....

The thought has also crossed my mind to make CAI plumbing from the hood scoop to factory airbox  Too many projects.

Looks sweet! Aren’t those holes in case tractor/hi-lift jack use?

Beat me to it! Lol!!
I kinda figured, I am still surprised they didn't make a removable cap. I am going to, I even thought about lights but I will keep it simple for now. The likely hood for me to need a hi-lift jack location is nil.

I watched some videos, and then did the Mopar trailer brake install. It all went pretty smoothly. My truck has the trailer tow package ADH, so it was fairly straight forward.

The only problem I encountered is related to the instructions showing to first disconnect the battery ground cables. After completing the install, and then reconnecting the grounds, the truck was beeping and dinging etc. I cycled the vehicle on/off and things seemed normal, except all my display preferences are gone and many of apps are missing such as front and rear backup cams, Sirius etc.

From some reading, I’m thinking the apps will come back by themselves with time….. There is also an under hood constant tone (beep) that is there with the key on, before starting. I don’t remember it being there before.. wondering if I blew a fuse unhooking things or if all this will correct with time??

Following is pic of where the factory hid my trailer plug in the left footwell.

Edit: went for supper and the apps are back….. still has that underhood beep, gotta do some research.

Just trying to keep everyone safe. It’s a shame as there are some cool doodads that could go there. I think a vinyl wrap or sticker would tear easily enough in that location.
Bought mine used and the dash trim was wrapped like in picture. Do not know brand or if it was a custom designed wrap.

Installed a new Factor 55 winch hook. Color is a little off but we will get the D rings re-powder coated.

Another step in the Mojave-fying of my Sport S.

Mojave Orange rear tow hook. I still have the other side to do but I don’t have the M14 bolts.

For the curious...

Mojave Orange Tow Hooks - 68468059ABKIT (comes in pairs)
Mounting Bolts - 6508668AA (you'll need 2 per hook)

I realize I could have spent $13 on a rattle can of DupliColor but I needed a second hook anyways.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll keep an eye out for this. One thing that’s weird with my Gladiator is the rear driver’s side door, ever so slightly sticks out below the door handle. It’s not quite flush with the body, but it opens and closes fine so I’ve never messed with it.

All the half doors fit perfectly with no adjustments needed, except the rear driver’s side door. It opens and closes pretty good after adjusting it, but it’s not perfect. I think the bottom hinge in the door jam needs adjusting, but I’m scared to mess with it and make it worse. No way will I take it to the dealer to make worse.
I bet the body shop guys could set it for you. I had a bad door on a new Cherokee that they handled no problem.

Those are holes for using a hi lift
You beat me to it. They’re sometimes also for access to the winch for cover installs or any other reasons.

Installed the Voswitch set up, Mopar cowl brackets with Mopar 5” lights and then gave her a bath. Still looking for a rear rubicon steel bumper with no sensor holes. Otherwise I’m happy…for now lol

Aries auto retract steps! Pretty awesome. Took 10 minutes to remove the OEM steps, and 6 hours to install the auto retract steps. Worth it.

Anyone need a set of OEM plastic steps?
