Thought I liked the Baja light bar in front but was sticking out to far. Tried to reverse the Maximus3 mount but was too tall. I used the Baja mounts that were included. I hope the stainless grows on me and doesn’t rust. Thoughts? Tucked in too far? Or just right?

FYI Baja Designs customer service gets another top point. Security bolt screw tool broke and they expedited a new one.

I find that it helps to say something about searching before asking a question to appease the salty keyboard warriors that like to gatekeep and show seniority. Something like:

"I would really love to [do something to my Jeep]. I have read about some folks doing [the same thing to their Jeep] and would love some advice. I have tried searching, but may not be using the right terms. Can you all help with specifics on how you [did the thing to your Jeep]?"

Sucks to have to do this, but it does seem to cut down on the drama and let the salty ones target a different victim.

I wanted the Rugged Ridge kit but at the time they only had the Rubicon version w/DRL. Rugged Ridge did have a chop bracket for the Sport S but w/o the DRL. At the same time, I was looking at American Adventure but was not sure they had Sport S version also they were on a 6 week back order.

The install was straight forward. I watched a lot of YouTube videos. The part that took the longest time was trimming the fenders. The install took about 3 hours, could have been shorter but my cordless Dremel ran out of juice.

AAL does have a bracket for the Sport S with 2 piece fender.. Just installed yesterday, fits great

I’ve had been waiting on my Amp override switch, so finally got the Powerstep XL’s all wired in.

Everything works, which is a relief because I have it all routed pretty and really didn’t want to pull it apart.

The wiring instructions for the ‘20, (not ‘21) actually match the ‘22, so that took me a bit to figure out but glad it all works.
