Thanks!

Did you fab that yourself? Also looks like you used a new tip/end?
Buddy has a shop did it all there. The tip was a chrome one that we had laying around from years ago, sanded it and painted it satin black. Gave him a 100 and a 6 pack and sold all the previous exhausts I bought.

I took the very rear muffler off. Has a little more sound on cold start and a slight drone 1900-2200 RPM. Almost unnoticeable over all, I did it more for clearance and aesthetics. Not exactly what you're asking for OP but provides a little perspective

If you zoom in at the 2 o'clock position over the tire you can see the tailpipe exit. I also trimmed the heat shield so I wouldn't have to see that hanging down

My wife (primary driver) doesn't want it any louder but I do. This thread really makes me tempted to install a cutout valve after the cats and set it up to one of the aux switches...

Manual Transmission, couldn't hear the engine to know when to shift, removed just the suitcase muffler, sounds perfect. Very little to no drone on road or off raod. Both resonators are intact. Can't recommend it enough. Thought I was driving a Prius with the muffler on it.

So I too went through several exhaust configurations, but each one when I got a decent sound (as good as the v6 gives) I gained a huge amount of drone. What I ultimately did was piece build the Dynomax quiet crawler exhaust. Every site and physical muffler shop on the planet was either sold out or didn't have the kit available to order but surprisingly you can easily find the individual part numbers for the exhaust items and order them piece by piece, turned out to be cheaper then the whole kit and everything was in stock at just about any shop that carried Dynomax. Weird...

Anyways, trying to eliminate the drone was my biggest hurdle, in hindsight I would leave the stock exhaust back on and cut it just above the axle before the spare tire and tip it out and to the side eliminating the last resonator. We are not improving the sound at all with any kits (IMO) so just cut it back so it is out of the way and be done with it.

On top of all of this when you do get your stock exhaust out look at it. It is surprisingly good quality and flows well.

Also to chime in on the rough idle sound. Mine did that as well my first setup was a Magnaflow straight through system with a muffler and one of their race resonators, sounded the best by far but at 68-75 mph in 8th I was going insane from the drone.

Cold start sounded mean and it would idle perfect but the exhaust would bubble and hesitate making me think it was idling bad too, but when you watch RPM's it was rock steady. And after warming up it just purred.

I was in the same boat last year, my 2020 3.6 must of had 4-5 exhaust configurations and I didnt like them much at all. Settled on my Magnaflow crawler but replaced the muffler with a dynomax super turbo. IMHO the Dynomax quietcrawler is the only exhaust I would replace the stock one with if it gets damaged, otherwise staying stock on my 22’ this time. The 3.6 struggles with drone and I tow so long trips and drone can be painful.
