Adding:
* auto/full time transfer case for sure
* Possibly Gorilla Glass (weight savings, no other real reason other than it's shown to be safer in major accident)
* Aux switches
* Starting over at 0 miles
* Starting over with full warranty - mine hits 3 years this November.

Likely stick with blue - if for some reason that was discontinued, we love the snazzberry, too

Stick with Overland - decent MPG, tows my trailer fine, I don't jump sand dunes at 50 mpg and don't crawl over rocks so big I need the height, lockers or electric sway bar disconnects of Rubicon.
I can’t do Snazzberry. It’s way too close to Alabama Crimson Tide.

My fiancĆ©e went to Bama and I went to UGA. I didn’t even think about it when I showed her some options on the lot when I got mine. One was a red Rubicon manual. She said anything but that ā€œgo Georgia red bullshitā€. That stuck with me so it’s a spite thing. She thought she was hilarious when she saw her first snazberry JT and told me I should trade mine in on it. Hahaha

Why not call Spencer and see what he can do.

I contacted him, he's not interested in doing a trade. He was my first preference to try.
BUT - I may toss him what I've gotten locally and see if he can at least better it a little.

Contacted Spencer again - decisions decisions. He's looking like a decent deal but to minimize his risk, his gamble, "wants my truck now" - which leaves me truckless for months, possibly 3 months, and show season is coming up. The first shows I am most concerned with are in July, so if something came in in 2 months I'd be ok but that's not looking good the way everyone here is talking about JTs they've ordered just this spring.
But he's the best bet as he'll work with me on tires, lock my trade price in as soon as I agree (and get him the truck, of course!) and his new price is good.
I have to do more math - and see what my wife thinks of me being without a truck for months and relying on just my SX4 which is my only other running vehicle at this time, and in bad need of new tires itself.

Time to get the calculator out.............

I'm going to check with one more person/dealer on Monday.
I've told the sales guy I originally bought from of my kicking some tires and seeing if I can meet a dollar goal as far as difference between mine and a new one.
He knows of my minor mods and right away asked if I could return it to stock, exactly as I bought it from them.

Anyway, I told him I had solid number in mind. If I can't reach that, it's a no-go.

I see the Overland is now available with a different tire option -
255/70 R18 BSW A/T tires
where I currently have 275/65 R18 RWL A/Tx tires.
The optional Overland A/T tires are about .8" less wide than mine
(And I have 5 matching tires and wheels)

So we'll see how Monday goes.
Things will either look ok or they won't.

On the other hand, my wife didn't seem to be so horribly opposed to me letting Spencer have my truck now since his deal is so good on a new one. But 2 to 3 months means no towing this summer.

I considered a trade for like 10 seconds when gobi came back. ( I got the exact truck I wanted with all the addons etc as it was a custom order, everything but the color )gobi was discontinued when I ordered mine, only had the basic colors so I settled on granite, it’s grown on me and I’mvery content with my machine. Literally if I traded it would be for the color only and I personally can’t justify it. But that’s me.

You sound like me. I’m sort of bored with granite but I don’t want to fork out more hard earned $$$ just for a more appealing color. Plus I’d be starting over in mods and that gets expensive rather quickly.

Yeah for sure, a lot of work and money just for a color, so far mine has 20k miles on it, supercharger, just ordered new wheels and a slew of other things. No issues very reliable don’t want to risk swapping it out. She’s my baby now lol.

Great thread @ShadowsPapa . Very compelling discussion on things to think about and sounds like you’re on the right track. I’m not sure I could go so long without one waiting for it to come in. Especially show season. Go for Snazzberry, I’ve always love it on a rubicon. Good luck Monday!

Bill, there's a new '22 Snazzberry JTO with the options you want in Omaha. Not real convenient but if you can talk your sales rep into a dealer trade from Baxter, it would eliminate the long order out wait time.

Thank, will take a look. My wife LOVES this blue, I mean she LOVES it, but when I said "someone on the forum mentioned there may be a snazzberry in Omaha with the options I want" her response was a gasp and oooooo. LOL.
I want the thing pretty well loaded - gorilla glass, aux switches, leather, full-time/auto SelecTrac transfer case, LSD and full tow package is an absolute MUST.

Yeah for sure, a lot of work and money just for a color, so far mine has 20k miles on it, supercharger, just ordered new wheels and a slew of other things. No issues very reliable don’t want to risk swapping it out. She’s my baby now lol.
I totally get what you and @Trauma PA are saying, totally. But when I look at what many of you have done - if I was you, I'd sit tight, too.
Maybe I'm underestimating what I've done on mine, but most things can be undone. Maybe not easily - it's not "fun" swapping springs, lower control arms, bumpers and winch, but I did the springs/shocks in less than a day and could undo the steel bumper and winch in less time than I installed it in.
I appreciate all comments so far, there's a lot of logic, and the range of what people have done is from minor easy stuff to massive changes (if I had a SC on mine.......... I'd sure not even be thinking about this)

The no issues, reliable bit is the only other thing popping up in the back of my mind now and then.
NO leaks, of any kind, not even water, no ping, no wander, steers fine, but then I think of the thousands of Gladiator owners who also have no issues at all.

More later as I read and re-read some of the other comments. Everyone has been logical, factual, and put some thinking into this and that's extremely helpful.
Tip for those who maybe aren't familiar with my medical condition - it makes it VERY VERY hard to make decisions.
People don't realize it because the brain normally does this process so very fast, but normally, when faced with choosing or deciding between say 10 things, without knowing it, your brain pairs things up and takes the results from that first pair, combines it with another of the ten and chooses between those to and so on.
I don't have that ability. Anything beyond 2 is not possible. There's no "working memory".
So comments here have helped a ton, in ways you'll never know.

Bummer, just took a look -
No LED
black roof (must be body color)
no tonneau cover
(likely other stuff as it's 7K under the MSRP of a loaded Overland)

I saw the MSRP and figured no way. MSRP for my packages would be $62,200.

Well, it was worth a look as Omaha isn't that far in the grand scheme of things and there's a quilt shop over there my wife would stop at haha.

Oh, I wasn't sure if you wanted body color top or LED package. Both requirements if I were to do it again.

NO OFFENSE to those who have the black hard top and love it, none at all, color is a PERSONAL choice, but for me and my wife, there are some Jeep colors that in our eyes, look best with all body color.
White is one I can do either way - I think white with the black accents looks sharp as heck, so do some of the other colors, but the snazzberry is just too dark a color to handle a black roof, and even the sales guy and the people at two dealerships have said now that they have seen the blue in all body color, they prefer that look.
Again, I'm not being negative about anyone's Gladiator - it's yours, it's up to you to love or not, your choices of color. Jeeps are vehicles - especially Wrangler and Gladiator, that frankly, can wear almost any color quite well. Not all can, Jeeps can.
But for us - first choice - Blue with all body color, next would be snazzberry, all body color, no black.
My wife is a quilter with a fantastic eye for color and since she supports this fool so often, even when she shouldn't, I have a lot of respect for her color choices.
