I wonder if someone has an idea how I might fix my front bumper. While parked, someone clipped my right front bumper as they came by. It caused the inner bumper to separate from the main bumper in that the internal clips were broken.
I took it to the Jeep dealership assuming they could do a quick fix while I waited. Of course not surprising, the foreman of the body shop said that because the clips were torn, the whole bumper (inner and outer) would have to be replaced. Cost $732 for damage you would not even notice unless you looked for it.
I can squeeze the inner bumper into the main bumper with just my hand so I was thinking there has to be a way to press them together and keep them pressed together (without paying $732)?
