Yesterday i washed it and sprayed on a second cost of cheapie wet ceramic coat. Mostly to help with road grime

in the process noticed some scratches from weekend exploring. None of the roads I took were exceptionally tight. Only brushed a couple green branches once or twice and not very hard. After washing saw a bunch of scratches. :-(. Less than 1500 miles. Knew it would happen. Just not so soon

what was surprising was scratches at the base of the fromt door sill area where boots and/or jeens brushed the paint when entering or exiting

is it just me or does this model paint seem super soft and easy to damage??

I noticed the same with mine. Does your truck happen to be Sarge Green?
The outside of my door sills are trashed already, especially in the back where the kids are. Any light touch of a branch leaves a noticeable scratch on the Sarge.

between that and living on dirt roads and Sarge showing dirt so easy I am actually having some color regret for the first time in my life and wish I had got white, or tan.
Oh well, it looks great when it is clean and I leave for town for the first time.

yes it is Sarge Green. Weird. What year is yours? Mine is 2022.

yeah I wont lie I am pretty unhappy with how easily scratched it is. I mean granted its a Jeep and its gonna get scratched. But I have had my 06 TJ on some tight and super brushy trails and although it scratches it is nowhere as delicate as the gladiator paint. It really seems to me like there is literally no clear coat on it at all. I even did a wax job with some off the shelf stuff just to be a little cautious since wraps are out of my price range for a while. I guess time will tell. And its a Jeep after all. Just sucks to get a lot of scratches so soon…. Not even in crazy brush. Just a couple of doug fir needles. My TJ and old truck would laugh lol.

Anyway rant over. Just gotta treat it like a delicate flower I guess. I still like the color.

Sure does make me wonder if there was some sort of paint problem with this rollout that we will find out about in 5 years when it all peels off Like some of the rigs in the 80’s

Does anyone else experience issues with their paint???

Hitch skid, hopefully works fine, it's a hefty piece. Will test it this weekend.

I tried that one too. It was too big to fit in receiver. Must have had a bad batch. Agree, it's got heft.

Fits fine, but works on the outer 2 holes only, out of 3. I have the OEM hitch

Got the ArmorLite flooring installed. Pretty good stuff, high quality. Fitment is like 98% - not entirely perfect, but good enough that you don’t really notice. The rear didn’t want to align perfectly over the drain holes, but again close enough that I could get the plugs in.

This is my first post, as I just picked up my Jeep last week, drove it for five days and then dropped it off for the parts to be installed. I loved it stock.. love it even more like this.

2” mopar lift with 1 1/2” level up front. BDS adjustable track bar up front (supposed to be one in the rear but they didn’t install an adjustable one and the wheel sticks out 1/2”-3/4” more on the passenger side) fox dual fox steering stabilizer and bronze method 703 trail series 17x8.5 0mm offset wrapped in 35x12.5x17 kenda klever rt.
That's a really nice looking rig! How far outside the flares does that push on the 0mm offset? I've been looking at a set of these wheels in either +25 or 0.
