This thing installed has not effected any other system in you Jeep? Do have it in a gladiator?
It does not affect a single thing just creates a stop point in the path and requires the plug to complete the circuit. No computers, etc that someone can overide. Never has. and yes. Always make sure you have your plug on your key ring otherwise it ain’t driving for you either :)

Sorry that happened to you. I live where that kind of thing isn't a problem... we instantly drop them and then call the coroner to come pick up the body. The sheriff writes a report and then shakes our hands and says nice job.
I hear ya. In my neighborhood we call 811 before we dig. Saves everyone some time. lol

Has the tazer activation work on Gladiators? No other parts needed? This would be a good deterrent, one more thing to slow them down.

Sorry for that unfortunate event, OP, hope you didn't lose other valuables in your JT.
No other parts needed. I open my hood with the truck locked and the horn is loud as F@#$ right away.

Yep, that's exactly how they're taking all the other Mopars too. They stole your keyfob signal. Maybe I really should start wrapping mine in foil.
They are using something different, you really can't steal the signal, (not since the 90s) only way to do that is if you yourself press the unlock button, they know what that random code in the sequence was before hand (almost impossible to guess, they don't use rolling codes anymore), they block that signal from getting to your JT, then you don't press the unlock button again so they can now use the code they just blocked because the key never sent it to the JT. Highly unlikely. Most likely using something stolen from the dealership, save that tinfoil for some brisket!

Yeah, on the footage that I have the thief has an iPad/tablet in his hands and never even touches the doors. He goes near the jeep with the iPad then places it on the ground. He then goes under the front of the jeep on the passenger side tire and then he opens the hood with a partner. They do something near the battery side, probably in the fuse box. The lights flicker, they close the hood, jump in the Jeep, start it and drive away... :(
Sorry OP that is terrible. The iPad leads me to believe they probably did air tag the vehicle. Hopefully this can all get settled as smoothly as possible for you. Know that if this is happening a lot in your area there is an app that can detect if you have been tagged.

Please steal mine. Insurance will pay for it, that's what insurance is for!

Lets fight advanced new technology with ancient technology? this, or drive topless and doorless with a rotting whale on the surf should do the trick.

I really still do use mine, at least will slow 'em down if not a total deterrent. I use it when parked for extended periods or in sketchy low-lit areas.

I should have added that not that long ago a hapless a-hole climbed over our wall and attempted to pry the rear slider.... One half of a pair of Levis 501's were left hanging on the gate. We followed the blood trail for two blocks before it ended where his partner picked him up. 130 pounds of dog hanging from his ass had to get his mind correct.
Wow, I didn’t think that dog looked that heavy! Are giant schnauzers good pets? I have thought about getting a Rottweiler, but I liked my Aunt’s mini schnauzers years ago.

Nice doggie. Nice piece of ass! Did he get a cookie to get that taste out of his mouth?

My uncle had a completely restored 66 mustang 289 hipo 4 speed, and he would remove the entire distributor if he was traveling (or coming to visit us).

Opinions on the easiest way to manually disable one of our new vehicles so scumbags, sorry, thieves with a computer (or whatever their process was) couldn’t accomplish this.

… I’m hoping ShadowsPaPa has a good idea ?

They probably live in a nice neighborhood and feel like only peasants live where people steal. Thats my theory.
Look at the houses in the first post. The OP lives in a nice neighborhood.
