I chopped my last vehicle, JK, so kinda figured I'd also do the JT. 37's made my decision for me. I'm a budget build guy. I've done JK, JK, and now JT. Those who have the money to spend tons, build some beautiful strong safe rigs that i appreciate reading about. My entire build is under $5k, and I'm on my 2nd set of tires

Def a nice rig... basically the look in going for. Chopp Fenders, i think im going to go with like a 3in lift. And higher just seems cumbersome as mine is also my daily...

It really bugged me how bright the frontend is with the gray accents. I installed the black Mopar Grille Insert today. I think it definitely looks better and is more inline with my vision for the future.

It looks to me like the cable was intended to be looped over the window crank.

judging from the white zip tie on the right... I'm not so sure, looks like it is in the intended spot to me ????

what would you say the difficulty was to install the insert ? I've been wanting to delete the gray as well , but everytime I check, this insert is out of stock... I need to be quicker.. lol

The hardest part was the darn clips holding the honeycomb down. I thought taking them off was the hardest part until I had to put them back on. That was even harder. Nothing that a little bit of patience can't work through though. As far as the overall difficulty level, I'd say it's a 1 out of 5. I'm the kind of guy who takes his cars to the mechanic for everything. This was the biggest thing I've ever tackled and it only took an hour or two (kept stopping to watch videos). Have a good video on hand before you start and you'll be fine.

Installed Cheapo Amazon locking hood latches that the kids gave me for Fathers day. I like the OEM look and they feel pretty sturdy so we shall see. Happy Father's day everyone!
