I really like the F150 STX - I was looking at this one nearby:

https://www.billhoodfordhammond.com/new-Hammond-2025-Ford-F+150-STX-1FTEW2LP4SFB14950

But man even with incentives it's tough to swallow.

Though considering I had to pay $45K for my Gladiator in '22, this seems like a bargain 😂
I'm uninterested in ever purchasing another ICE truck for my daily use.

I'm referring to the Lightning and Silverado EV, if they were that 45k, I'd have that 8.8L big block sitting in the back of one of them instead of that Cummins truck.

Gotcha.

You're right about that - the EV pickups on the market are high!

I Pre-ordered a Lightning when they announced, at 40k MSRP...

I've never seen one within 500 miles for under 65.
Are you wanting the higher trims? The Pro version is always way under that. San Diego pricing.

The Bronco was coming for about 4 years before it did and then that launch was slow as molasses. Couldn't get cooled tops for like the 1st year. I'd have a really hard time buying a Ford period, but waiting for one? I guess it's practice for waiting for the tow truck after you get it.

They haven't had a Pro on a lot within 250 miles of my zip code until maybe 2 months ago.

By then I'd already purchased a truck. I'm 3 years out from buying another now.

Our 2025 JL 4xe now has more miles on it than our 2024 JT because if I have to take my son to basketball practice, I'd rather take the charged 4xe and not burn gas. It's not that the 4xe is a superior vehicle to the Gladiator, it's just that our driving habits dictate more 4xe driving that wasting miles on my Gladiator.

We love both of them for what they give our family.

A 4XE couldn't make the round trip to our ball field and back.

Sucks living in the sticks sometimes 😂

So, I did not realize how big E-Bikes were until I went to Atlanta Motor Speedway last year for NASCAR race weekend.

They had an event for campers - bring your bike and go for a ride around the track racing surface. I arrived at the meeting location on my folding 7 speed manual analog ass pedal with your feet only bicycle. Only two other people did.

EVERYONE ELSE had e-bikes. We got RUINED. The ride from the meet up location (outside of Turn 4) to the tunnel entrance (opposite end, under Turn 1/2) liked to have killed me. Uphill the entire way into a 20MPH headwind, 40* outside. Thought I was gonna die. These people blew past me like I was chained to a tree. By the time I got into the track, through the infield, and one lap around a mile and a half speedway, the e-bike folks were probably back at camp halfway done with dinner.

I'm out there looking like a PEASANT - like, who the heck uses their legs as exclusive power to move a bike?

Never doing that excursion ever again 😂

I’d drive one for a commuter.
Back in ‘08 when I was paying $130 per tank in my diesel F-350 I went to my Ford guy and told him I needed the cheapest, best mileage pick up he could get. I ended up buying a base Ranger XL with a 2.3 4 cylinder and that thing got almost twice the mileage of my diesel. I was stupid to sell it almost ten years later…
