As HighNoon said if it the Bosch HP4 fuel pump, they are known to be defective. If that pump gets any water running through the system, it will rust/ corrode and fail causing a catastrophic fuel system wide failure. That pump should have never been used in the USA as the diesel doesn't have the cetane rating as required by Bosch. The fuel is what lubricates these pumps.

What are your driving habits? Modern day diesels don't like short trips. Screws dpf and scr
driver habits are normal diesel vehicle habits, lol, what I mean by that is, we own 3 diesel pick up trucks and are familiar with the dpf and scr issues if not driven on long trips to make the system get up to temp, our shorter drive is 45 mins, we live out on the middle of no where,

Sounds like something other than diesel fuel was put in your fuel tank
the gas caps are not locked and anyone can put something in there.
I would believe it but, there was fuel tests done and everything came up good, as per dealer the pump had a major failure.

Fuel pumps can go bad, even new ones. When they go bad on a diesel many parts downstream are trashed. Bad luck there. Your other issues sound like non-diesel specific. But throw on a crappy dealership= I’d be angling to make some Lemonade -
No one makes a post fuel pump filter that can catch all this trash when the pump pops? Seems like a no brainer if all the big brands are having the same issue.

It varies by state.
But in Maryland, the trips/days counter starts AFTER you send a certified letter to Jeep and States Attorneys Office.
for anyone wondering, we did contact Jeep/FCA headquarters and sent a attorney cert letter, and pretty much the answer was ;" sorry we dont have a ETA to when the parts will be available",so we are on the process of a lemon law suit, I really didnt want to get to this, I offered jeep the option to buy it back at least 3 times and they said no,

the jeep did manage to get "fix" since but it has been at the dealer pretty much 200 miles after the 1st repair, and then about 600 miles after the second repair, it is sitting at the dealer now, forgot to mention a few other issues with the vehicle since those are minor but kind of sucks either way, never had any issues with a new vehicle till I bought this Jeep, as mentioned earlier, I am getting it wrapped and will drive it around like that, lol, everywhere,

Not understanding why the fuel lines and tank had to be replaced
if they were not contaminated

I am struggling with your 2nd batch of problems. Runs sluggish until FULL temp and goes into limp mode if I tow a trailer. Because it is intermittent nobody can properly diagnosis it. I also get the error emailed to me about the charging system but that sounds like it is fixed with a software update.

My guess: dealer won’t buy it back because of the dealer lift + 37s. Buying it back on an invoice sale means they’re only out some small amount of profit, but those dealer lift packages mean their forgone profit would be way higher.

Of course the sad flip side is you’d think the dealer would take BETTER care of those customers… :(

when the fuel pump failed, it sent metal debri and clogged the injectors, the whole fuel system including injectors had to be replaced

sorry to hear that, hopefully you can get it fixed on a timely manner,
otherwise I can order two vynil wraps if you want one lol

Sounds to me like the dealer isn't up on diesels.
