I think the most likely scenario is a limited production SRT version of the Wrangler and Gladiator. It will have a $20-25K premium and will probably list north of $70K just like all of the hellcat/SRT variants on other FCA models. I just don't see any way that they'll start mass producing the 392 in an affordable Jeep...

Unfortunately....this is where I see things, too. Even then, it probably isnt appointed like Rubicon or Mojave.

Could be wrong, hope I am, but would bet I'm not.

True but.. why do you think Chrysler diddnt offer the 2.0 turbo in the Gladiator like the Wrangler? Maybe because the 3.0 or maybe the Hercules will be a 6cy turbo... Leaving the rare srt hemi versions.

The Jeep engineers talk about that and it came down to heat and cooling - they couldn’t get the 2.0turbo to perform in the JT and tow enough even with the extra air flow.

I hope this is true but I’m gonna be real tempted to trade in for a V8 except..... I really doubt they will release a V8 with a manual transmission.

Not sure what vehicles they are putting the 404hp motor in but the 500hp one you quoted I’m assuming is out of the Giulia Quadrifolio. From every review I’ve seen of that car that motor is essentially the same as the Ferrari V8 from the California with 2 cylinders removed.
This is what I've always heard too. The Q4 motors are the V8 from the Ferrari 458 with 2 cylinders taken off and turbos added. The 404hp version is not the same and is only used in Maserati's.

The 392, whether Wrangler or Gladiator, is likely a stopgap until the I6 is ready.
