Ordered my JT last week Friday and gorilla glass was an option I was able to select. $95 add
Do you have the sales code for that? I'm in the process of ordering and would love that option.

I'll guess it is an improvement to this angle:
Jeep Gladiator 2022 Rumors? 1624366908785

Likely from optional lift + tires, and maybe an improved hitch design.

I like this a lot - I also like that this may be a teaser for MY 2022, which is good that it's coming out now and not in November. Sure it's for the JL, but I can't see them releasing MY 2022 JL and not releasing MY 2022 JT.

I said it earlier in this thread, and echoed it in the other thread specifically about the 40.4 teaser:

Jeep was spotted a bit ago testing 35" tires. It's an easy factory option, they're already set up to run them without modification, and most critically Ford is already doing it. I haven't done the measurements or math, but the geometry with those tires and possibly a similarly available lift has got my money.

That's JL, mind. Gladiator MMV.

Not that I mind driving through TN as it’s a beautiful area, but I really don’t want to deal with flying down/driving back to pick up a car. I have my heart set on a Hydro Blue Overland with saddle interior, and those are kind of hard to come by.

There’s a Firecracker Red with saddle for a decent price at Bethesda Jeep (51k MSRP for 44.3 before tax/tags/fees) but they’re trying to double charge for destination and I’m not falling for that. And once you go through the trouble of building out a car and checking all the options you think you want, it’s hard to settle. Maybe we can get a comfy, commuter bus to drive everyone to Gupton! ?
Tri-City in NC might be a little closer to you

I just hope the 35” tire package rumor is true & it crosses over to the JT too. That + a couple new colors would make a Lot of happy Jeepers.

I noticed that the 35"s come with 4.56 or optionally 4.88 R&P. That 4.56 is clearly for drivability and mpg, and makes me rethink my strategy of retaining 4.10. I think the 4.88 is just to get the crawl ratio up to the moon (100:1). Big R&D budgets help tremendously in sussing out the best way to tackle certain problems. Especially when it's someone else's budget!

Most likely, as that's exactly what Ford did to get 95:1.

Crawler gear * 3:1 t-case * Optional 4.7 gears

Jeep is just playing their game.

Manual 1st gear * 4:1 * 4.88
