WHY DO YOU WANT A V8 GAS GUZZLER IN A GLADIATOR??????? IT CAN ONLY TOW 6500 IN THE 392 AND SO CAN THE DIESEL AND IT GETS MUCH BETTER FUEL ECONOMY.

AND IF YOU WANT ONE SO BAD CALL RUBITRUX AND BUY ONE, THEY ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE ESPECIALLY ONCE SOMEONE PUTS A COUPLE THOUSAND MILES ON ONE.

RUBITRUX HAS BEEN DOING 392'S FOR OVER 20 YEARS, WHERE HAVE YOU ALL BEEN???

IGNORE THE FIRST ONE, ALL THE ONES BELOW THAT WERE SOLD WERE IN THE 70-80K RANGE WITH ALL THE GOODIES. A JL 392 IS 80 AVERAGE, THATS NOT A 30K CONVERSION LIKE THE OLD DAYS.

PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS, I GOT MY 392 JL AND A DIESEL GLAD WITH D60'S AND I WOULDNT BUY A 392 GLADIAOTOR WITH YOUR MONEY AND BLAME IT ON TRUMP, THE DIESEL IS THE ONLY MOTOR FOR THE GLADIATOR, TRUST ME. I HAVE OWNED HEMI CONVERSIONS FOR 14 YRS AND THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY THESE DAYS UNLESS YOU ARE A BILLIONAIRE AND YOU WANT A 1000 HP ONE!!

https://www.rubitrux.com/jeep-gladiator-jt.html

WHITE, RED, SILVER, BLACK, TAKE YOUR PICK. THEY ARE NOW REMOVING THE PRICES AFTER SOLD BUT THEY SELL DAILY, I ALMOST CANCELED MY DIESEL FOR ONE THAT WAS ALL DONE AND 2-3K ON IT 77K.

With the Bronco I don’t think Ford is releasing a 2.7L tune, only 2.3L. There’s been some discussion on if the transmission can handle a tuned 2.7L. Probably best left alone, Ford actually tuned them higher than their original reports stated.
GH Tuning has a tune for the 2.7 that maintains all factory knock detection.

5 Star has a more aggressive tune for the 2.7. though we will have to see what they do in their bronco versions.

I’m a little worried now. I don’t care for the UC5, colors, 4xe or a V8 but if they come out with the xtreme recon package I’m not sure what I’m going to do.
I don't understand. Just put some 35s on your Rubicon and call it a day. It doesn't even need suspension work to fit it.

You wouldn't trade just to get Extreme Recon, would you?

No, wouldn’t trade for sure but mine hasn’t came in yet. I don’t think I would wait any longer anyway so I’ll be keeping mine either way.

Yeah I never doubted aftermarket would but Ford performance doesn’t that I’ve seen. Which is disappointing because if I was doing that I’d want to keep the warranty.

So far Jeep has made a bunch of changes to the JL online configurator (mostly removing colors and upcharging a few options such as Gecko and getting rid of floor mats, etc).

Zero changes to the Gladiator configurator yet.....wondering if it's going to take a week or two for the changes to trickle down the pipeline. As we all know the JT has always played second fiddle to the JL when it comes to production and updates.

Yeah, well maybe that will be our strength too. If the JL gets to MY22 before JT, then on our side I can decide if I want to order a MY21 or a MY22 and know I'm getting exactly what I want .... maybe.

Hmmmm, sounds like we should expect a warning whenever the MY22 JL/JT launch is imminent. Just noticed this was posted this morning:

MEDIA ADVISORY: Reveal of the All-new 2022 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Confirmed for September 29
September 24, 2021 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The legend continues. The all-new 2022 Jeep® Grand Cherokee, including an electrified 4xe version, will make its official world debut at 9 a.m. EDT / 1 p.m GMT on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021.

This fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee builds on a legacy as the most awarded SUV ever, shattering expectations by bringing the most technologically advanced, luxurious and 4x4-capable Jeep Grand Cherokee yet. As the Jeep brand pushes toward a future of “zero emission freedom,” the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee will offer, for the first time, 4xe plug-in hybrid technology.

The reveal will be hosted by Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand Chief Executive Officer, and Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America, and it will be streamed on www.jeep.com.

I don't think we'll get that kind of warning. The Grand Cherokee is an all new platform so they're trying to play up the launch. JT will be quiet in my humble opinion.

75 pages and counting...

This is the most long lasting thread I've posted since the reminder to NOT put 6 quarts of oil in your 2018+ Pentastar engine. That one has been going for like 3 years now. :)

Anyone in the Dallas area want to head downtown and clue us in on what's going on down there? Stellantis hasn't updated their virtual auto show page, and neither has Texas. It's officially open to the public as of this morning.
