Are you saying a 2022 jeep with the same options as a 2021 jeep was around $3500 more?

if so, that’s a huge amount.

Or did the new build have a lot more option you chose?

Or was the new model $3500 cheaper because some of the features are standard now?
People are saying the 2022 JL is cheaper than the 2021 JL because certain models contain more standard features (8.4 included on Sahara and Rubicon I think it was). I'm not buying this info just yet. No way we're looking at $3500 more on JT stuff if JL is ending up cheaper.

I read all that and it seemed like a bunch of dudes just throwing ish into the wind and seeing what sticks.

All speculation; nothing legit. Unless something was updated within the last couple hours - in which case I will retract my statement as false.

Let’s talk about the 4.88 gear option from the JL order guide on Rubicons ?

They posted the order guide. That being said, jeep.com is nowhere near in line with the latest order guide so any comparison should be done against the latest 2021 order guide. I don't remember if it was August or July.

Is everything orderable, including Mojave? Or just Sahara today like the rumor suggested

Did you see that the order guide was posted? Also a few anecdotes like this on the JL side:

I can confirm the Mojave has the 8inch screen and Alpine upgrade is included.

So my order is officially placed. And I spoke to the salesman who placed the order doesn’t look like any extreme recon or additional gear selection is available for the gladiator. The 8.4, alpine speakers, and keyless entry are now standard on the rubicon. Even though base price went up. Even though it’s standard your still paying for it. And he also said it still looks like uconnect 4 in the system.

How did that go down? Did you use last year's guide and he converted it? I'd want to see a pdf guide as/before I order.

Nice. 2 things my 21 Rubicon doesn’t have. How much did the price go up to make those standard?

So they’re artificially increasing the price by making items standard? Interesting. I’m curious if this is a better deal or essentially the same thing while increasing the bottom line price.

So the 22 JLU sport is something like $600 more than the 21. Seems typical. If it comes with more standard features, it's a win in my book. I think proximity alone is like 600. I just hope they continue to offer the popular equipment package. That package is a steal.

Dealership told me to go off the 21 order, I tell them what features I wanted and they would let me know if they saw anything different. And call me if something else changed. I asked about the extreme recon and gears. Other than that I knew exactly what I wanted.
