Man I sure hope there is still the 8.4 option with all the current tech. This screen is terrible. It will make finding a place for a good phone mount even more difficult. The current screen is a great size. some day there wont even be a dash. It will just be a 42” TV screen ?

Must be a particular build date. Mine is a 2022 and I do not have that.
Mine is a 2022, June 2022 build date. There's threads here and in Wrangler forums from months ago asking "what the @%$@! is this thing".
Maybe it was early in 2022 model year and not 2021 as I was originally thinking.
But if you watch some of the videos of the crash tests, you can see the right front wheel roll under the vehicle, causing flipping I think it was.

I recall seeing some threads - but I didn't look up any videos. That does not sound like a good time though. Mine was built in Feb 22 so there must have been a change between our two builds.

Is it welded on or just bolted? I imagine it could cause issues for some lift options. Makes me wonder how much longer until auto insurance companies are going to start getting super super strict on aftermarket parts - as in, so strict you cannot do anything at all. Hopefully never. But inevitable at some point I bet.

Great, my wife will have a fit if there is one coming up as I have great interest in one and I just traded my 2020 for this 2022 not even a year ago. She won't be happy.
If the 4xe is coming I need it to come out soon as I have a jeep jamboree in October so I need time to rebuild lol

I want to say it was midway through the 22 model year. I had a early 22 build Rubicon and it didn't have the safety plate. When I traded it in for my diesel that was built late 22 it did have it.

As for the new refresh features if they all carry over from the Wrangler, I would not want the power seats. I hate how slow the adjustments are instead of just slide and lock in place. Wonder if it would be able to be optioned out but I doubt it. ?

I wonder how hard it will be to retrofit the new screen.

My 2023 got damaged in shipping and it's finally suppose to be built next week. At this point I'm almost wanting to wait for the 24 model

I personally don't see any problem with the new grill as I think it looks fine.

Was in contact with a dealership. Said he couldn't order a Gladiator Diesel as that was closed. But he will contact me in two weeks with the ordering for 2024 Gladiators is open.

If you get one and you must take the power seats, I'll work out a trade with you (my seat, and kick in some cash)
