If we would like to dig deep into the objective, I bet anyone could build an equivalent or better rig for far less than $94,000. Hence my option that it’s overpriced.
My only point is that there's a big segment of Jeep buyers and owners - even majority, who for whatever reason, can't do the work (age, handicaps, lack of place, lack of tools, etc.) who will gladly pay to buy something ready to go. So for a lot of Jeep buyers, it's a fit.
For you, and many here - no.
My brother pays to have Jeeps shipped in from other states - he finds something he wants, he pays, has it shipped in.
Figure the NYC owners who still want to get out to the country. (months ago I dug into "who buys Jeeps" and "where are Jeeps sold" and found an amazing number go to NYC)

So it has its place - just not for you.
And more than 8 will pay.
The majority of Jeep owners don't do their own work. They aren't even on forums.

Fair enough! Still not sure why anyone would argue that’s a reasonable price simply because 8 people are wiling to pay it! Not that you’re arguing that!
Whether people agree or see it or not, AEV has always marketed themselves and their products as upscale. You almost never see any of their stuff on sale or discounted.

From what I understand, their factory conversion packages sell more to overseas Middle East customers than here in the USA. They make most of their money sell the bits and pieces accessory and lift packages than whole vehicle conversions here in the USA.

In some countries you cant modify the vehicle very much if at all after its delivered. By buying the upfit you can get in to a (over priced) built out gladiator that you otherwise wouldnt be able to do if you just bought a stock export gladiator.

That said, AEV is overpriced for what it is by massive amounts. They dont really make bad stuff, but the price they demand is often 2x+ higher than a comparable (and often better) component.

And you have that from Stellantis?

The 2.0 would be a total wimp in a JT, rendering it unable to tow or handle the payload of even an Overland.

Where's all of these "facts" coming from?
My reminder came due today,
