Use to be 4 Jeep Wave oil changes and tire rotations back in 2019 for 2020 models
I hate to blame Carlos Tavares for everything, but that guy prioritized cost-cutting measures and profits wherever he could. It's sad, but I can't think of one great thing he did for Stellantis.

I think the reduction from 4 to 3 was before Carlos and Stellantis taking over but yeah, I cannot think of anything positive that guy did at least for the end customer.

I'm old enough to remember the Chrysler Five Star Dealership program. I think that was the last time when customers were highly valued.

I agree to a point. For me, time is money so that factors in to decisions like a warranty claim for less than impressive shocks too. My dealer is an hour away. Appointment or not even a simple oil change takes hours. They'd likely turn that free shock into needing the vehicle all day. Now I've had to waste 2 hours of my time and 2 hours of my wife's time with drop off and pick up. For them to do a 10 minute job that I could do in the driveway with no jack. Being that both our Jeeps are lifted and get 13mpg I'm also out $40 in fuel for that "free" shock. For the massive upgrade in dampening and travel at a cost of $350 that also saves me 4hrs and the headaches of dealing with the dealer I know which way I'm going every time. I could work that 4 hours of overtime and pay for the shocks even if the budget was that tight.
it is what it is

These leaks were known over a month ago, but it's good to hear it from TFL. Thanks for sharing. 👍
The bit about "reinvesting funding to continue the long-term growth of the Jeep Gladiator" is nice to see. I definitely like the truck enough to buy another if they iterate sensibly.

Reminds me of when I watched a TFL video of him trying to explain the 4xe and how it worked and so on - they were SOOOOO LOST, I laughed at half of it. He had no clue about most of it.

I agree that smart improvements are needed if they plan to draw people to the Gladiator. For example, I was one of many who bought the Gladiator because of the diesel powertrain. Jeep definitely needs to offer something interesting, and they need to watch the price point.

If they had offered the diesel with the manual, that would have been my purchase this go around. Alas, my love for rowing gears won that battle.

I may be in the minority, but I hope they continue to expand on drivetrain options, offer them at reasonable prices, and then just leave the rest of the proven formula/heritage that gives a Jeep truck its soul alone. Stellantis has plenty of other brands to mess around with IFS, heavy towing, luxury interiors, etc......

Jeep hit a homerun when they launched the Gladiator but did very little to keep them competitive in the growing midsize truck market. I have faith that Bob Broderdorf, Tim Kuniskis, and Antonio Filosa will be making good decisions going forward.

My sources say this is the next Jeep engine for the Gladiator -

Came here to post the TFL video. But I see Im late to the party. Glad to see I was right. I wouldn't be surprised if they killed the 4Xe in the Wrangler next.

That's been 1/3 of their sales. I doubt they kill it, there's a pretty enthusiastic group of owners out there.
Besides, it uses the same systems as the Grand Cherokee 4xe and is so similar to the other versions it's not like the cost is all resting on just one model.
