35x12.50 Toyo AT3’s. I have almost 10,000 miles on then. Wearing well, ride good and seem to be decent in the snow. Probably will go to 11.50 next time but no rubbing or noticeable issues with the wider tire.

I see you're running 35 x 12.50 on stock wheels. I thought stock wheels were too narrow for 35's. Are Rubi wheels wider than the other stock wheels?

They are probably on the edge of being too narrow, some manufacturers say you can run them and some say you need wider wheels. A personal call I suppose. If I keep the psi around 32 they seem to wear even but if I could do it again I would probably just buy the 11.50’s. They would be load range C vs E and being a bit narrower would probably be that much better. However, as I noted, 10k miles, no funny wear patterns, no handling issues, no rubbing including with the sway bar disconnected, aired down off road several times and have done a couple of 2k+ mile road trips.

I was running 37 12.5 17 on my stock wheels on my Max Tow. No rubbing, No wheel spacers. I had Spacers on and had them taken off to see how I liked the more tucked look. Rode around for probably 5 months with them like that until I got a deal on new wheels I couldn't pass up.

You've got great options, and a lot of ways to go where it's hard to lose. Other than the prices, it's a great time to buy tires.

I ran 35x12.5 BFG KO2s on stock rubi rims for about 47K, and they were great. great on-road habits. Handled rain and snow no sweat. Solid off-road performance. They do run a little on the smaller side, so be aware of that if size if king for you. I absolutely recommend them.

Just jumped to 37s with the plan to log a higher percentage of trail miles, so I switched to Baja Boss ATs. They're a small bit noisier with a touch more vibration than the BFGs, but just barely. I've got about 7K on them now and they're wearing very well. Already handled snow, mud and sand. Haven't really hit the rocks yet. I absolutely recommend these too, in any size.

I really like the look of the Baja Boss AT from what I’m reading. The only issue I’ve seen is that the 35 runs down to 34” once under weight. Worried they might look a bit small on a JT especially with the high JTR flares. Any thoughts? Anyone else running these on a JTR?
I just had the 35X12.50X17 Baja Boss A/T's installed this morning on 17" Rocktrix rims -12 with a Teraflex leveling kit. The tires look great compared to the Bridgestone 255x70x18's that were on there.
I drove them around with 38 psi from Discount and they ride nice and are pretty quiet. I will run a chalk test tomorrow and air them to the appropriate PSI.
Readylift 2.5" SST lift going on tomorrow.
Mine is an Overland.

315 70 17 is usually referred to as a "metric 35" as it measures 34.36 compared to an imperial 35 that measures 34.5.

Why one over the other? Well 315s are usually but not always cheaper, and I didn't think I'd miss the extra .07 inches of ground clearance
I opted for the BFG AT2 315s because they were available in Load Range "C" vs the "E" 35s. Don't know if that's the case everywhere. They're much softer in the sidewall and don't "thump" over concrete gaps on the FWY. Also air-down really easy for sand with enough pressure to keep the bead on the wheel. If you put them next to each other, it also looks slightly shorter/wider/rounder than the 35s - most likely different sidewall construction.

Take a peek at the Maxxis RZR AT…not sure there is a better tire on the market For the money. Plus if you do 35x11.5 you can keep the rims you have.
