Hi all,

I’ve had my ‘23 Mojave over a year. 4th Jeep (2drJK, 4drJKR, JTR), first time I’m lifting. I live in mostly flat driving. My Mojave is my DD. I’ll be doing the AEV lift, and want to move up to 37s. I won’t be regearing. I’d like to keep my stock wheels (one I like the look but also I like the price since I already own them). I was looking to add 37x11.5 Nitto Recons. What are everyone’s thoughts and experience on a 11.5 37 on a DD? Note, for the few times it leaves the pavement it’s in such light terrain it’s not even off-roading. The lift and tires are a cosmetic decision.

Thanks in advance.

I have these tires with the Mojave wheels on my Rubicon and really like them. They work just fine with my stock gears but I do have the diesel so it is probably a little different. They are a D class tire so you will notice a difference in the stiffness of the tire. I ran them for a month with a 1.5" spacer in the front with no problems on road. I have since moved to the AEV 3" heavy constant load lift. Before and after lift pics attached.

Thanks very much. Do you have a pic of directly in front or behind to see how the width looks?

Any issues with the truck now feeling tip over heavy since it’s narrow and taller?

Here are some pictures with the 1.5-in spacer. I went from C-Class mud terrains to D-class all terrains it seems to have gotten more stiff around corners and more stable.

What air intake inlet is that? Wasn’t aware there was a CAI solution like that for the diesel.

Also, love the tires. I want 11.5 wide 35s or 37s when my 285/70R 17 KO2s wear out. How are they from a road noise perspective? I do enough highway driving with a soft top where a loud drone wouldn’t work for me.

Thanks,
KW

It's an AFE momentum CAI combined with an AEV Snorkel hood penetration with a custom grill on the snorkel hole. The AEV engineers saw it the PNW overland expo last year and loved it.

I daily 37x12.5 no lift, no regear. I'd like 4.88s for when i tow. But other than that mpg only took a 2-4 hit. granted i drive like an idiot so i get way worse but thats on me not the truck.

What did you do for wheels?

How big of a MPG hit?

Nice rig. Thanks for the pics. I’m considering the same tire. I currently run Nitto RGs 37x12.5. Your tire would shed 11 lbs per corner. Regarding your functional hood vents and the CAI, what performance improvements have you noticed? And is your diesel running any cooler because of these mods? My oil is regularly in the high 240s to 250’s on long climbs at altitude.

I'd suggest checking with the LIFT manufacturer. My Clayton 2.5 overland suggested minimum 5.75 backspacing. I was going with a 35x11.50R17, and decided to roll the dice with the stock wheels.

Passenger side cleared fine. Driver side WHEEL (not tire) rubbed on the new tie rod. Had to buy new wheels and change em out. The stock wheels are pulled way into the fenders, and can be problematic. Even when they are "supposed" to be OK. Learned the hard way.

I ended up with Method 703's which were 12 offset. No rubbing now.

Your jeep looks awesone! Is that a space lift or 2" suspension? Do you hit 8th gear? I have a 2021 Mojave and trying to decide on spacer or suspension. I rarely go offroad so I am leaving spacer. Thank YOu
