Even though we don't have leaf springs ,we do have soft clevite bushings in the control arms . As a matter of fact our rear lower control arms are interchangible with the 1500 ram . All we did to get rid of wheel hop on our Ram 1500 was install better control arms (Core ) and wheel hop was gone thanks to Johnny Joints

Has anyone added this to an automatic? I have a 21 Mojave and have the bracket on the frame. Would any shock work or would it need to be this specific bilstein?
You need the specific Bilstein shock. It was chosen for the amout of dampening it provides. I bought all the pieces from @AllMoparParts.com and installed it on my '20 Overland. I moved all the pieces to my '23 High Altitude when I traded.

Benny's kit makes it easy! You won't notice any big difference on smooth roads, but it can help off-road, in gravel, or with snow-belt potholes.
Yes, the rear feels more settled; just adds an additional angle of dampening

So pricey for a shock and a bracket but I’ve had the hopping in sand and gravel. I might have to get it.
Well it is what it is.

Not like there is anything cheap related to jeeps....so par for the course

Any see a part number on the shock itself? Maybe stamped in?
I see the Mopar P/N, I’d like to find the Bilstein number (could not find it on their website).
For those wondering, yes I’m looking for an alternative if I can’t find it listed for another vehicle. Over $200 is nuts IMHO.

FWIW, I have handled this shock and it is a pretty high resistance gas charged shock. More than any other normal wheeled corner suspension shock I have handled. It is tailored made for this application. May find something that will physically fit, but I would be surprised if you find a direct alternate in terms of performance.
