Nice. The Ft. Fisher beach pass is one of the things my son gets from Santa Clause every December. He has a Jeep and lives in Wilmington.

just got it back from the dealership, as expected they couldn't replicate the issue so they can't do anything. They did some some stored codes though.

Stored Codes:
TCM-P1DAF-00 (incompatible Limp Mode)
PCM-U0418-Implausable Data from Brake system module 1
TPM-C0077-00-Low Tire pressure
ABS-U0402-00-implausable data received from TCM
DTCM-C149D-00-Clutch Calibration not Learned
DTCM-U0402-00-Implausable Data received from TCM

Active Code:
BCM-B16B7-15- Center Stop Lamp Control circuit short to battery or open
The dealer told me not to worry about this code and nothing needs to be done...........

You could say that sometimes any vehicle has some weird "glitch" that goes unexplained and never see it again. My '00 Tacoma shut off when on 495 in northern VA, my wife's '15 4runner screen went black twice for no reason, never happened again. My 18 Chevy threw check engine then restarted with no issue. My '19 JL through a code, checked the system, came on again after a restart then disappeared never to be seen again. Weird vehicle monsters show up and disappear with no explanation. Guess I'll see what happens one day on the gladiator.... for the record I do a fair amount of beach driving and it wouldn't give me the warm and fuzzy either. Especially when we have a manual transfer case, you expect the whole systems to be manual and WORK. Good luck?

I had a few WTF times when my JT was "new" radio and all reset as driving down road, and a time of it just shutting off driving down road, oddly enough in same general area. Never happened again or any other place. Not the same thing. The FAD or as know as before CAD it was a problem in past in Jeeps with the CAD. Leaking vacuum line or such, could be the same area but electrical. The nanny traction control pisses me off when backing a trailer in my driveway. I shut it off it will cycle back on if shifted in forward gear and back if it's wet.

It's those nannies that drive me nuts too! The door opening autopark is fantastically annoying. I love on a farm where I open the door to look for chickens or kids or one of the kid wants to hop in. I don't put it in park I stop and open the door. Certainly the nanny auto park shouldn't be engaged below 10mph or something. And yes, I know it can be turned off with the tazer...but should I spend the money to fix something that shouldn't exist in the first place. Especially the great irony that you can take the doors off of this vehicle and I don't own another vehicle with this feature 2 of which are 2020 and newer....so yeah, it's annoying..sorry rant over....back to the OP, my bad for the hostile takeover.

Mine is in the shop now for the same thing. been there two weeks! There has been one sensor after another on the Transfer case and transmission go out even while they have had it. I don't remember the name of the sensor but ill get a list Monday and post it. I want to say a transfer case control module. But i didn't have 4X4 no matter what i did and i checked everything!

Wait.. "Popping out" of 4-low shouldn't be normal under any circumstance, new Jeep or not. That actually a thing?

Get a short seatbelt extension(basically an extra buckle with a seatbelt metal tab on the bottom) and it’ll keep the auto park from working. They are like 15$ and also make the seatbelt more comfortable if you are not a skinnier person. I never worry about the auto park for anything. You still get a message saying vehicle not in park but it doesn’t park the jeep. And if you are just moving it real quick and don’t want to throw the seatbelt on it still works. Just leave the extension in the drivers side

Years late, but not sure why they would brush this off because I just noticed this code and confirmed my third brake light is out…
