2022 Gladiator Rubicon - Sarge Green
I just ordered a new Rubicon Gladiator (Sarge Green) and I am awaiting delivery from the factory. I've been looking at the AEV 2" Spacer lift to run with either 35" or 37" Tires. I'll probably buy the AEV Salta XR wheels to keep the factory offset and run the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I currently own a '15 JKU w/ the metal cloak 3.5" lift and didn't want to go as extensive on this new build; I was hoping to utilize the Rubicon stock suspension given most of my driving is on road with some light trail rides.

Does anyone have any feedback on the AEV 2" spacer lift? I'd love to hear what you think of it and PLEASE provide pictures noting what size tire your running.

Thank you!

I just installed this kit on my JTRD last weekend. I also installed a set of Mopar extended LCAs, which turned out to be unnecessary according to my alignment guy. Install was easy enough, instructions were OK, not great. Very good kit in that it ia very complete-you get the spacers, links, bump stops, hardware. If you like the ride from the factory suspension you'll be happy. I'm already looking at new springs and shocks as I find the stock suspension too soft and bouncy. I'm still on the stock wheels and tires so this pic is pretty boring, but gives you an idea of the extra room under the fenders.

Yep, I went with the basic Falcon 2.1. It helped get rid of the bottoming out I was getting on the OEM Fox ones. I'm liking my AEV and haven't had any problems. It's going to be a bridge until I decide on a full suspension system.

Not the AEV but I went with the Readylift 2.5 SST spacer lift. I also installed Rubicon takeoff springs in the front. I think the amount of lift it gave me looks good with 35's or 37's, altogether gave me 3-1/4 inches of lift and maintained the stock ride feel pretty much. It's a complete kit as well.

I hVe been wondering about much difference just a better set of shocks would make. How does it ride now?

Drives like a completely different beast. Dump the OEM Rubicon Fox shocks and you'll see.

Me and my buddys put the 2 inch AEV spacer lift on in the driveway. Instructions not very great. But i like the lift it will do til I figure out what lift I will be going with long term. Wheel and tire setup is 37x12.50x17 the wheels have 4.5 back spacing and I do not rub when flexing.

I have the AEV kit on my Sarge Green Sport S, along with a jks adj track bar and extended Mopar LCAs. I happy with the kit, but ordered some rancho geo correction brackets to replace the LCAs and correct the control arm angle. No issues currently with caster or steering with the Mopar LCAs. Just feel it would benefit a bit from the geo brackets. Had them on my old JK and helped smooth things out a bit.Running 315/70/17 bfg ko2s. Overall happy with the kit and have no complaints. You will have more tire clearance due to the highline flairs and could run 37's without any issues...if u wanted.

Installed the AEV 2” spacer lift on my 22 Mojave with 37s. Honestly love the look however I do wish the gladiator sat maybe 1 or 2 inch taller. I’m looking to either swap my factory coils with the skyjacker 1 or 2” coils but not sure if the Mojave factory shocks can support the additional height.

A buddy and I installed my AEV 2" kit in a few hours about a month ago. I also swapped to a set of 37x12.50x17 Baja Boss A/T's and Arsenal wheels.

As a heads-up, you do NOT need to loosen (at all) the front upper control arms to be able to get the front coils out.

Also, a good 1/2" impact gun is your friend.
