Replace your carpet with Armorlite- you'll wonder why you waited so long. It's awesome.
It’s a good idea. Just curious, what does this offer that rhino/linex does not? Aside from removability. From a cost stand point we paid $500 to have the tub of our JKU sprayed- I would expect to pay no more for the JT cab.

I would love to see your setup.

Agree with all, and that wet is your enemy.

We also use a Lilly Brush Pro Pet Hair Tool Kit, a Dyson and well our dog sheds Dustbunnies rather than bristles so it is easy.

It insulates (you can actually notice it when you remove footmats when offroading and being barefoot on the carpet) and sound deadens very well

Solution: take off roof and doors permanently. No scent trees needed. Just wear a coat when needed and sometimes a rain poncho :)
There's this older wrangler in my neighborhood that I walk passed everynight and it hasn't had a top ever. I don't think the guy washed it in years, there is even sticker residue on the driver's window. It is cool for sure but I think the Gladiators are too new for that. If it gets hit with a downpour the electrical crap I can't even imagine. If the Gladiators had a factory water proofing protecting electronics, i would do it.

I would say a couple of things:
1. Faster installation with no down time for drying and having to sand the tub
2. Additional insulation in the cab
3. It’s not permanent

The biggest thing I take from this, is most with the air fresheners are doing for/because of their wives...

I just keep mine clean, carpets free of dirt and mats not excessively dirty, leather is cleaned and conditioned twice a year; there is no eating allowed in the truck, and if you have spilled a drink before, you are now relegated to only water.
… spilled a drink, relegated to under the tonneau cover! Or banned completely ?

Personally, I’ve found switching to bi-weekly showers with extra time spent scrubbing the C&B’s along with the Mariana Trench does wonders at keeping the dreaded stench of swamp-ass away…especially in confined spaces such as a Jeep in Florida!

It always worked great for me, and it's cheap. Outside of that, I would use a 12v mini essential oil diffuser. That works well too.
As an added bonus...
Apparently dryer sheets keep yellow jackets away. I haven’t/cannot test this. But I was told that some US mail carriers, usually rural but not always, will put a dryer sheet in problem boxes to keep the phuckers away.
I’m all for keeping yellow jackets away. I drive a front load trash truck. And yellow jackets love dumpsters. ??‍♂
Since dryer sheets aren’t a logistically feasible option, I carry a 5 gallon bucket in my truck full of wasp/yellow jacket spray.
I hate those phuckers. They will build a nest anywhere. ?

If it was me, i'd be on the phone with Chemical guys to see if they can whip up a C &B refresher as there is a new found interest. You never know.

Dry sheet cut into strips. Take the strips and put it on top of the cabin filter. I worked in dealerships for a long time. Torpedo to clean and baking soda on the floor(sweep after it sits over night) will get most smells out of an interior. Worse case use the chlorine bomb or an ozone machine

I just keep mine clean, carpets free of dirt and mats not excessively dirty, leather is cleaned and conditioned twice a year; there is no eating allowed in the truck, and if you have spilled a drink before, you are now relegated to only water.
No chemicals in my truck to mask a smell by introducing even more powerful chemicals into the air to cover up the other odor.
"Air fresheners" don't freshen anything. They mask chemically. They are a lie, false advertising.
The reason they don't last is because their chemical is gone into the air - and the air has been exchanged many times while what is causing the original odor is still in the truck.
The "air freshener" spews chemicals into the air, the air gets exchanged with outside air over and over and so the chemicals from that thing are gone while the source of the odor is still in the truck. They are odor maskers, not fresheners.
I told my wife to skip the fancy dryer sheets, too - they spew even more chemicals into the air we breathe - they only mask odors be putting out a stronger odor humans will accept.

I wonder if one of those cabin filters that has a carbon component to it might help actually remove the odor producing chemical from the air - and truly freshen it?
Baking soda is a trick used in refrigerators for decades - it actually absorbs the odor causing molecules. So I'd shoot for a carbon filter and/or baking soda.

I try to retain the New Car Smell for as long as I can... Once it goes, I'll fall back on:
a) Nothing (I clean the interior of my cars pretty religiously and try to keep everything pretty neutral)
b) a couple of dryer-sheets, as mentioned already
c) Occasionally, I'll buy MY SHALDAN air fresheners, I love the Apple scent. But I only open it partially. Never open all the way... it will overwhelm you. (https://www.amazon.com/My-Shaldan-Apple-Air-Freshener/dp/B004AZ6T3I)
d) Admittedly, I like the Black Little Pine Trees (forgot the scent name) too

I snapped a couple shots for you. Both were bought on amazon cheap, one is water proof and covers all the way down to the rug, the other goes to the front

seats as shown. Zero hair makes it to the actual seats and little to the carpet area. These are cheap enough to replace every few months.
