It's the unplanned stuff where that drain really helps. Drop a coffee, can of your favorite beverage, etc on the floor by accident, it just sits there nicely until you pull the drain and let it go out of the bottom of the truck. Then you can pull the mat out and clean it without having to figure out what to do with 12 oz of liquid.I have some from Amazon. I think the brand is 3W? Looks just like the Smartliner posted above. They're nice. No complaints with them in the past year. They don't have the drains in them but I didn't plan on tracking bucket loads of mud and water into the truck - so it's been fine.
I don't know how I have managed it - but I haven't spilled a drink in a vehicle in 19 years of drivingIt's the unplanned stuff where that drain really helps. My JTW came with the Mopar mats. I like the Jeep design in those mats and they have the drain plug for the front mats. The rear mats lock together at the tranny tunnel hump. Which is good, because it protects the carpet over tranny tunnel.Just looking to get everyone’s opinions of all weather matts. The options I’m seeing are:
- Mopar
- Weather Tech
- Quadratec
I’m sure there’s a couple I’m missing. If you have something else let me know! Thx
The Gladiator MOPAR mats were already dealer-installed when I purchased my Gladiator new and I have no issues with them. They have a matte finish that is not showing wear and they are still flexible after 3-1/2 years. They also still clean up well and have the integrated floor drains that match up and lock into the Gladiator floor drains. You remove the floor drain plug and push the fitted drain grommet on the mat into the drain opening in the floor, then use the floor drain plug in the mopar mat.Just looking to get everyone’s opinions of all weather matts. -true - recently opened the drain in the mopar mats and used the garden hose to wash out my wife's floor mat in her JL after a spilled french vanilla coffee. It's the unplanned stuff where that drain really helps. Oh no doubt. If you got the time and the coin, this is the ultimate way to go. I got lucky and had the mopars included with my truck, otherwise I'd give this a serious look.I just went through this. I ended up going with armorlite flooring, glad I did much better than a floor mat.
People who install armorlite give those away.Mopar
