AMW 392 Gladiator in the works

So this is added to the cost of the original gladiator purchase price. Do you get a warranty of some kind from AMD? Total investment north of 150000.00 some where? I can think of a lot of crap to do with that much scratch. good luck and have fun.

AMW gives you a 3yr 36k warranty one year labor I believe.

My dad was the same way and lived on the coast the majority of his life.

I've got some folks that just moved from Louisiana to Charleston. They wanted out of New Orleans but still wanted New Orleans so Charleston was a close fit and he like me needed to be able get that salt life fix

Sorry if this was previously answered, but what do you do with the original engine/trans if you’re over the mileage and can’t get credit for it? I understand trying to sell it, but do they ship it back to you or drop ship it if you sell it?

They are giving me a trade in value for it, I think they run that as a promotion from time to time. I don't really want to try to ship and sell on my own.

I am sending my Gladiator to AMW next week for a 392 swap, they will also be doing PSC steering at the same time along with a few other things including drive shafts. This is the first time in my 60 year history letting someone else lay a finger on one of my vehicle's. I did my first v8 engine swap in my 81 Toyota pickup when I was 20 so this is going to be hard for me.

So far the experience has been fantastic other than sending in the deposit check. LOL I am shipping the truck from Ca to Michigan next week then me and my Son are flying out on Nov 9th spending the Day at AMW and driving it home.

The truck as of now is on stock axle housings with RCV's in the front, Reid Knuckles, ball joint deletes and Chromoly axles in the rear, sitting on 37's. I have 4:56 gears and ARB's front and rear. I am what I consider a Rock Lander toughest trail so far is probably 5 rated but next year I hope to step that up a bit and see how this goes.

I have realtors looking in Montana and Utah at this point and own 5 acres in Southern Oregon wich is really nice but alot of work. Me and the wife hope to travel in our Motorhome 8+ months out of the year untill we can't do it anymore. In our travels who knows maybe we will find something we never thought of and move there.

I plan on doing the same here in a few months. Going to head out west from Mississippi hit Arizona, Utah, hit Yosemite and Yellowstone. Hope to stay 3 or 4 weeks

You will love it when you drive it! I had a certified installer for AMW 4x4 do mine, I only got the 5.7 but smile every time I drive it.
