Are people running these because they smash their factory LED taillights and it’s a cheaper alternative? I know mine are super expensive because of the integrated blind spot monitoring. Are people forfeiting their blind spot monitoring?

They accept the bs sensor, but I’m in your camp. I’d rather hit my tail light that sticks out a bit, rather than the body. For me it lines up vertically with the outside of the bumper, so it’s a good clearance indicator. I replaced one once, but not because it sticks out. I backed into a juniper branch and center punched it.

I'm using the Oracle tail lights because my Jeep couldn't squeeze past a particular tree without smashing the OEM tail light. The Oracles were the only ones that accepted the factory blind spot sensor besides the ridiculously priced OEM replacements. So far I haven't had any problems with my Oracles.

Everything I have purchased other than the tails has worked out great. So far oracle has been very responsive both on the boards and via the warranty claim dept. I'll update results as they progress . But at least something positive to report.
So why start a thread bashing Oracle? Wouldn't it have been easier to just contact Oracle instead of posting here? You said it yourself, you like their other stuff. So beat them up on one product that didn't work out?

A little butter for the popcorn!

How long have you been running the tail lights?

My Oracle lights are working great. Headlights and fogs over two years and doing great. The initial harness for the backup lights had a glitch. Oracle made the harness issue right by me. However, I do believe Oracle has been to quick getting products to market.
I had a problem with my harness when they sent me the replacement. The rubber gasket was not seated correctly and would not allow the plug to click/lock. I luckily had a pick set and was able to remove and reinstall the gasket correctly.

I bought a set of these in December. The passenger side had a couple diodes go out, not obvious, but noticeable.
I bought them on amazon, but I registered with oracle when I installed them in January.
I reached out to their customer service, heard back in a day, they asked for a few more items (invoice, some pics), and told me a couple days later that they’d shipped a new one.
I don’t have it yet, and when I do get it I’ll post a separate review, but the experience has been very positive, and they genuinely seem to be standing behind the product.
I know it’s subjective, but they look awesome, and Jeep should’ve put something like them on from factory.

What does V2 add in terms of durability? I purchased my V1 in the fall of 2023 after I broke a tail light, had one light go bad in 2024, you guys took care of that. The two I have are currently working, but I do have a few LEDs that are out. Nothing that is unsafe yet, but I disappointing none the less. Does the V2 version address this? I see the below, and while nice, I desire a longer term solution vs just a few years. Curious if this is integrated into the V2. Love the clean look of these. Can't really just replace bulbs as they go out. : )
