73in...no issues

It's all about personal seating position preference and what you are willing to tolerate

I was about to trade my Gladiator in before I discovered Seat Jackers. I installed the short ones and it was like getting a new truck. I came out of an '06 Ram 2500 so it took a while to get used to this Jeep. I priced out a seat frame, $129, so I can afford to whack mine up to try some Seat Slammers. The frame in my Ram was over $700 so I didn't want to find out I didn't like the Slammers and have to come up with serious cash to fix my mistake. As far as the transfer case shifter, that hard little bastard would ride on my bluejean seam and drive me nuts so I figured out how to pad it. Get you a pipe foam coozie and then a pocket coozie to stick inside it for a shim. It makes a nice pad and you can yank it off the shifter in a hurry if you need 4wd while on the move. I'm 6'4'' was over 330#'s when I bought my Jeep, down to under 270 now.😊

I'm glad to hear your guy's like the slammers, I have a set I haven't installed yet.

Right now when we take trips, we get in my Ram lol.

I am 6’4” 250+, and the Gladiator is one of the most comfortable vehicles for me to drive that I have ever owned. I am quite comfortable. My height is in my torso. My doctor told me once that I have the torso of a person 6’8” and the legs of a 6 footer. So, I don’t have to have the seat all the way back. If I did, the soundbar would sometimes be an issue, I think.

I am 6'4'' right around 240 lbs. and wasn't very comfortable until I put the Misch Big Boy Brackets on. Huge difference in comfort and adjustability, I now have plenty of leg room.

I'm 6'2". I HAD to get the Desert Does it seat spacers to support my legs. I do want to raise the rear view mirror a tad. But auto darkening rear view is preventing that. My 4th gen ram has loads more space up front. Ram is a quadcab, the two kids fit the Mojave's back seat better.

I am 6'9, 315 pounds. I have more room in my 2024 Gladiator than I did in my 2012 JKU. Not only does the steering wheel move up and down, I can also pull it away from the dash! Makes a lot of difference trying to fit my knees under the dashboard! I have never been able to drive a stick, and this is no different! But I love my JT and look forward to lifting it so I don't have to bend down to get in it!

If you are hitting the sound bar, remove the plastic from it. Makes for much more head room.
Hi Scott,
I'm 6'7" but most of my height is in my legs. I did change the seat brackets with a kit that I got from "Extend my Seat" that helped with the leg room.

ExtendmySeat.com

That said, your comment on the sound bar intrigues me.
Would you mind taking a photo of what the head area looks like with the removed bar and post it on this thread? I would love to see how it came out.

thanks,

This is crazy. I'm 6'5" and admittedly slouch a tad but even sitting up as straight as possible leaves several inches before coming close to the hard top. The sound bar I would hit but not unless I recline the seat to the point of lounging and I would never drive in that position. I guess no two bodies are the same but I carry a lot of my height in my torso so it's definitely confusing me a bit.
I deadlift a lot, so my ass is like sitting on a phonebook.

6’4” and gladiator was roomier than a Tacoma so I went gladiator. That and solid front axle. Same it’s not a lot of room but it’s just enough. I’ve done a 10 hour drive and was good. Right knee does rest on the t-case lever.

I'm 6'5 and I don't care if I ever drive the stupid thing again.

Head doesn't fit under the soundbar, at all.

Can't see the traffic lights or anything but the visor.

Transfer case shifter hits my knee, hard.

Door rope thing digs into my calf hard enough to leave welts.

If the Gladiator were actually my vehicle, it would be a Bronco, which I had absolutely no issues with.
Sounds like you needed to test drive a little longer.

Seat type matters. Cloth seats have less aft room than leather
Mojave leather has even more depth.
The power seats really eliminated the need for seat jackers.
All the way back. Drop the rear lift the front. Very comfy. My old JT with cloth really felt like a different truck
