Anybody got Gorilla Glass?

Exactly. I have glass coverage with my insurance. In Colorado, you need it. Jeep dealer tried to sell me a $900 glass coverage as an "add on." Nope... Insurance does it for me. I usually get about one a year and they don't ask too many questions. Just want to know a date when it happened..

Go figure I took about 9 or more rocks into the glass in one day ending up with multiple chips. Then Mopar sends me a email on gorilla glass being available. I'll probably get it when I need a new windshield, after what I started having with my LJ 3 cracked windshield in less than a month. After #3 I said F### it and rolling with it.

State Farm. You get one a year. They ask for a "date" it happened and the send a glass person out to replace it.

Who did the install and how much was that? I brought Gorilla glass up to the Safelite guy (he was unaware of it,) who repaired a couple stars on mine. He was supposed to find out if they could do 3rd party glass and get me a qoute. Still waiting on that.

Safelite said no.

I ordered directly from HGP. I let them recommend a local installer that would install their product.

I worked a deal with my Insurance. I paid my $100 deductible and they paid the remainder of the install costs.

Considering I have had 2 big pings at highway speed since, it won't take long for the windshield to pay for itself.

How many "verified hits" have you had? Curious, I'm in the Orlando area as well, and I drive the 417 and 528 back and forth to work each day, so that's a target rich environment. I bought my Overland in December, and I've replaced the windshield twice. I'm with USAA and haven't had any pushback yet (and I also had to replace the glass in my F150 in December right before I traded it in, so that's 3 claims in 3 months), but I'm wondering if they're going to say enough is enough with your glass, hoss.
