I have the Bak Revolver X4 it uses the threaded hole on the bottom, the top hole you push in a threaded sleeve.do you know of a specific one that uses that hole, is it the mopar one? Wonder if something just sticks into it to align something, or if they actually secure it from both sides.
Man, your killing us with these words.i stuck my finger in that top hole from the backside clap, it was super awkward to get it with a topper on the bed so I don't think i'll be able to get a nut lined up, nor a bolt fed through.
maybe I can do the rivnut thing there if need be.
.... And don't go posting up sexual stuff, ...
No, just your typical steffen707 post. Bored at work, need advice, lets make this fun!Thank Christ....I thought this was gonna be another WENCH post....
NWS? You just gravitated to the thread cuz it had Hole in the subject line and you have Hole in your screen name.Thought we finally had some good NWS threads going. Leaving sad.
A coworker was wearing one of these on our last video conference. It took me a minute to get it (TWSS):Thought we finally had some good NWS threads going. Leaving sad.
Well, they changed them on 2021 trucks. Tried to install my Rugged Ridge tonneau cover yesterday and neither hole is threaded anymore. Rugged Ridge is sending me new brackets and hardware to mount the cover. I'll know more tomorrow when I get the new hardwareI searched but didn't find anything.
I posted this in another thread, but its unique enough that I thought i would start another in case others have seen or have used this hole themselves.
Far back corners of the bed, you can see daylight. I haven't gotten up into the truck to see if the bottom hole is threaded, but has anybody successfully mounted an eyelet back there for rigging stuff?
My 2 D rings in the back I had to take out when I installed some bed drawers (project not done yet, ) so I need another spot to winch from to pull deer up PLYWOOD onto my bed.
If you have photos/links of this hole being used, please post em. And don't go posting up sexual stuff, please, think of the children!
I don’t know why new models change the holes. I need to put more tie downs in bed, but I need to tap those holes first to clear them outWell, they changed them on 2021 trucks.
