We went to the Hollister event last year, my wife thoroughly enjoyed it. The winch demo was at lunchtime, it was very practical and showed everyone what was going on and why. Even including respooling the cable, which was synthetic of course. Helped my wife understand why I was adding all this expensive stuff to a brand new expensive truck - money well spent, baby!

Im doing the Hollister Hills one this year. Ive got some off roading experience, have hit trails a few times and gone wheeling in the snow a bit, but I felt it would be good to get some proper education on this stuff and learn more about how to properly tackle obstacles (Is yelling "Send it!" required or simply recommended?).

One of the things that stood out to me was them talking about winch use demonstrations. Ive got one, but never used the damn thing, and would like some practical experience with it, with a babysitter present.

Worst case scenario, I goof off in the gladiator for a day and meet some fellow jeepers, sounds good!

Which day are you signed up for? We're signed up for Thursday - last year we used my Gladiator; this year we'll be using my wife's 2017 JKU. Gives her a chance to drive it!

I tried to sign up for the Badlands event just a day or two after the e-mail from Jeep and had no idea how quickly these things fill up. I was literally registering when I switched off to check my work schedule and when I went back to sign up a minute or two later it was completely full. The good news is that I have to be one of the first on the waiting list...

The wife and I completed the Llano course yesterday. It was a great experience! Beautifull views and top notch guides. Make sure you fill up the tank at the nearest town before heading to the ranch. No gas stations near by. It is amazing what these Jeeps can do even stock like mine. We climbed stuff I never would have considered trying on my own. Enjoy the class and tell Greg hello for us.

Was there yesterday as well and feel the same. The two rocks we climbed were of the variety that I would never try on my own. I think I even got a few action shots of your gladiator

Anyone ever do the Knoxville, TN class? There's one at the end of the month I'm considering but I can't find so much as a photo of where they'll take us.

I'm signed up for Saturday at the Knoxville one. I've never been to Windrock park but there are some websites if you search it.

Oh man, an outdoor range too? It's short notice to make this one, but I'm going to try. Will update if I can pull it off.
