ALSO! If you plan on running a winch w this bumper do all of it at the same time. You can’t “or I couldn’t “ get to the two front bolts for the winch on the winch plate with the bumper on. You put the winch plate on, then the winch, and then the erector set bumper.

i had to mount the box to the left or the wires were going to rub on the grill. Winch is a smittybilt XRC 12k comp. tight fit but nothing is rubbing or touching.

Thank you that is great advice. I have a smittybilt (98512) 12k x20 sitting in the box ready to install as well. Guess I better clear some more time then. Also thinking of doing LED bulbs and fogs at the same time as well. Looks really nice, I am now really excited to get this thing installed.

i just discovered this thread. i started a similar one several months ago.

My buddy and I use to drink beers and chat over 5-6 hours sitting and staring at either his 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse or one of our various civics. When i would get home my wife would ask, "So...what did you guys talk about all night?" "I can't remember, but I had a great time!"

I think people who like cars/trucks/motor transportation will always just enjoy staring and dreaming. You love what you've got.

Use to be content with a slow cheap AutoX car, now I love Gladys.

I am guilty, as charged. I feel like IT owns ME, not the other way around. I swear.. I just went out to the garage to have a smoke and stare at it some more.. was about to go back inside when I heard the horn chirp, then I heard a booming voice coming from the front grille - "SAY MY NAME....!"

Haven't used it to tug anything but myself so far but the reviews were good and plentiful on Amazon so I bought it. The bumper is an EAG off ebay, love it, fit great, nice and light too. Does not have d rings but I like the style a ton.

I started walking in to work today...turned around and looked at my JT...all black against the peaceful snow covered parking lot. Turned around...grabbed the phone and took a few photos. Put the phone back in the Jeep (work in a secure facility, no phones allowed)...smiled and walked in to work.
