Anyone have a cutout available? I’ll pay it, shipping, and your time to mail it to me. Just message me, thanks!

Wondering if anyone has installed the hood cutout on a rubicon hood? Or if it will not work on the rubicon? Just trying to get answers before I purchase the Mopar CAI, as I would use the hood cutout. Thanks in advance for any info!
Interesting. Was the Mopar CAI on your '21 a factory-installed option or dealer installed? I thought that if it was installed as a factory option it came with the standard paper filter (and no hood cutout).Bought my ‘21 off the lot and it had the Mopar CAI. I couldn’t figure out why the ‘21 was getting less MPGs than my ‘20 that I traded. I removed the high flow Mopar filter and replaced it with a WIX. I’ll be damned if MPG hasn’t improved by 1 MPG.
It was installed at the factory (according to the sticker sheet). You know that bag of stuff that comes with the truck that addresses the options (like the AUX switches and the heat shrink sections), it didn't have the vent kit.Interesting. No port/tube came with mine, just the hood cut out. The port/tube might be a snorkle thing.@NJMAX The Mopar CAI comes with what you call a port/tube that runs from the air filter to the port that you cut in the hood. In my opinion you would reduce air intake if you installed the air filter and port/tube without the cut out as it would then stop at the edge of your hood significantly reducing your air intake.
Since it is a Mopar part and I have the stealership do all my services I used the Mopar air filter that came with the kit. I would have probably swapped it out if I was doing my own service work.
Let me know if pictures would help you make a decision as I could snap a few and upload them tomorrow.
Hope that helps.
@Russler This does help. I am by no means a mechanic or or car guru. I hate bothering people but I have searched forums and YouTube and not found info or images of how the hood vent connects to the intake. From what I understand with the factory order it does not come with the side vent cut out. I am so torn between wanting the benefit of the hood vent but not wanting to cut the hood and cut out part of the Rubicon hood decal. I wish the vent was at the corner cowl like the Rugged Ridge AmFib Low Mount Snorkel.@NJMAX The Mopar CAI comes with what you call a port/tube that runs from the air filter to the port that you cut in the hood.
