I listed my Mojave earlier this week. I'll give it 30 days. If it sells I will order one exactly how I want it. If it doesn't, I will start doing mods on this one.

Mine is a 2020, fully loaded Mojave with steel grey leather and 5400 miles.

KBB gave a value of $60,486 - $65,937. Carvana offered $48,000 and some change and KBB instant case offer was $49,860.

You could pretty easily get $55k for it at the auction.

I sold my Rubicon Gladiator for $10,000 more than I paid for it. I had about $5,000 in aftermarket that I left on it, so I netted $5,000. Turned around and bought my Texas Trail Gladiator and used the $5,000 to upgrade some of the things on it.

I couldn't even get a KBB instant cash offer.

Says $46,500 for yours. Only 8 in the sample though and some sold for closer to $50k. And of course you have to know a dealer that can do this for you. Just throwing it out there as this is what you should be taking as absolute bottom dollar. This is what the dealers are paying for them.

Weird my dealer is in PA and they only offered me $43k. As usual the more they discount the less they give on trade.

I checked Vroom, Carmax and Carvana....Mine has just over 5k miles on it.
2 of them offered around 10K less than I paid. Carmax said my vehicle was rare and needed to do an inspection.
I think part of the problem is I didn't see an option to include the extended warranty I added when I purchased my JT.
But they were still 3k -5K under MSRP.

Most warranties can be cancelled and a refund issued.

I traded in my wrangler for more than I paid for it a couple months back, its how I got myself in my gladiator. Now I'm looking and can sell the Gladiator for more than I paid for it and while I am tempted, i'm just gonna finish paying off the small amount i have left on it and enjoy it for a long long time.

May I ask how much you got off the MSRP on the JT?

Interesting. But probably more to this deal than you have disclosed.
Did you owe money on the Mojave?
What is your buyout on the Volvo?
Which model did you lease?
I own an XC40 and quite the little technology laden ride.
The biggest complaint I have on the Volvo is the remote start.
No fob buttons, have to use my phone AND after 4 years I have to pay a subscription price of $80 (current rate) a year to use it.😤
1. Yes I owed on the Mojave. After the down payment and first months payment on the Volvo I netted $12k.

2. Leased an XC60 B5 awd.

3. Buy out is $33.5k, which I don’t plan on doing.

Wasn’t much room to negotiate on price, came a $1000 under msrp. Money factor was about average for the luxury car side of things. Overall it was a decent lease but not great. But, wanted to try something different out. Leasing is also the only way I’ll keep a car longer than 6 months as well.

Edit: I agree about the remote start, I've yet to get it to work, hopefully that will get sorted out with future app updates. I'm slowly getting used to the new google infotainment system, its a bit light on features but it works well. So far I'm pretty impressed with the Volvo, very very quiet/refined on the road. The harmon/kardon stereo is also shockingly good for being their mid-tier audio option.

On a not so similar note:

We sold two of our boats this summer. One we bought new in 2013 for $23K. We sold it 8 years later for the same $23K.

The second one we sold, we paid $25K for back in 2010. It was a used 2004. We sold it 11 years later for the same $25K. (We did have some repair money in that one over the years. )

So, two used boats sold for what we bought them for 8-11 years later.

We also lucked out in that we bought another boat last year before selling the two others. It was at the beginning of the COVID lockdowns. It cost $65K. Today I see them going for $80-85K.

I guess we had good timing in this crazy market.

I took advantage of inflated prices to get my Mojave.
Had a 2021 GMC Sierra, 11,000 miles. It was a warranty nightmare, rebuilt motor at 5,000 miles after lifter failure (known issue now with a bad batch of parts GM got), the electronics were glitchy as shit, folding mirrors replaced under warranty, and after years of having it on the road the 10spd trans just isnt tuned right.
So after 11,000 miles and 10 months, I got basically what I paid for it and left with the Mojave. As much as I wanted the 6spd, there werent any optioned right new me. This 8spd is so well sorted compared to the GM, and it is so much more fun to drive.

We also sold a mt cabin in upstate PA for double what we paid 5 years ago. It will crash and we will buy again, or maybe when it does there will be deals on little used travel trailers and finally space at campsites again.
