Just an FYI, whether you have the aux or you delete it, the "avengers button" will still be needed. The system doesn't automatically stop using ESS when you do the delete, it just can't tell the aux is gone. It still thinks the system is intact. That means ESS will still run, just with 1 battery. So it doesn't turn that button into a "waste of space". Quite the opposite, you really need it.Reasons for keeping it, right now, are a combination of not minding the system on the whole, not wanting to have to leave any battery leads taped up underneath, and having the avengers button just being a waste of space inside once deleted.
Eventually the truck will reach an age where I don’t mind cutting up the wiring harness and maybe converting the avengers button into an aux. switch or something but we’re no where near that yet![]()
