I'm planning to add some aux switches to my JT in the near future. I've eyeballing the Lasfit and Voswitch offerings for the Gladiator. Just wondering if any of you had any experience with these aux switch solutions and could over some pros and cons of each?

Thanks!

I’ll be following this. Bought off the lot and the one thing I don’t have that I wanted is the aux package. I’m tempted to just by the factory system.

I have the Voswitch 8 switch panel and relay. Install was super easy, working great with the few things I have hooked up now, with plenty of room for expansion down the line. All I had to add was some split braided loom to make eveything pretty and tidy, but the kit even came with zip ties. The mounting solution is really nice on the inside as well, and gives you tons of mounting opertunities with the 3 1 inch balls. Not trying to sound like a shill, but i'm very happy with the purchase.

I went with the VOSwitch over Lasfit as it is has 2 more switches and doesn't come pre-labeled. The Lasfit using permanent switch names was a deal-breaker for me. I would have gone with Lasfit if the switches were labeled Aux 1-4 ?‍♂. VOSwitch was easy to install and super clean if you end up with the JL300.

Is this waterproof?
Probably not. It's well built so I won't have an issue if it's exposed to the elements. Getting dunked in a water crossing probably won't be the best for it. The relay box is mounted under the hood next to the battery.

I have the red lasfit switches for the lockers in my sport. I chose them because of the oem appearance. I had factory aux switches and the lasfit feel just the same.

That looks really cool. Where did you mount it on your JT?
I have a JCR offroad overhead molle panel that I mounted it to. The mount isn't perfect, but I haven't had time to figure out a better one yet.

I went this route too. So far so good. Very happy with it with what I have hooked up to it now.

My biggest reason for going the JL-200 route was the switch style/placement and the serviceability of the distribution box. The idea of a solid state relay makes me sick in an offroad vehicle.

Overall, very satisfied with it. I got it during prime days on Amazon too, so it was a steal.

Only time will tell on the longevity side of things.

I'll add another vote for Voswitch. Was super easy to install and route the control cable into the cab.

Thanks for posting your experiences. Why did you choose this one versus the JL300 which fits in the lower dash?
