Does the plug and play harness replace the connection at the light? The lights I got have a slide/spade for the t-taps, I don't see it in your set up. I got the updated email this morning that my harness is on the way. Just curious if I possibly have the wrong connector on my lights or if they get replaced.

Good morning everyone, be on the lookout for your shipping notice and reach out if you have additional questions. To be clear, groupbuy orders are always prioritized. We received hundreds of orders in the first day or so.

Give me just a moment on the harness questions, and I'll get technical assistance here!

I still have nothing, no email with shipping information. What's going on?

They ran out of lights because of limited supply, and because they shipped to the people first that order after you and I.

Just kidding, be patient, we will eventually get our emails and light in due time. I think the wait will be worth it. :)

I'd be curious on how the group buy (pre order) was handled on their end. If I recall correctly, originally it was only opened to the first 100 people.

I had originally contacted them January 20th, saying I wanted to be part of it. It became pretty obvious that they were massing more people/orders than just 100, because the group buy was promoted multiple times and places...before and after you could officially order/pay for one.

Not really feeling that it was a forum group/pre-order buy. Just pre-order buy of as many people as possible.

If you don’t have the PNP harness and don’t plan to use one, do you have a factory tow pkg? If so, and if the tow wiring colors are the same as the JL’s tow wiring (I have not checked—this below is for the JL), this is from a respected JL forum member. “It is far better to tap into the white wire with orange-ish color chase for your 12v and for your ground do a simple self taping screw to the 4x4 tow rail that is right there. Again, the least you bastarzie factory wiring the better. If your ground gets iffy, goes south (it happens) it is easy easy to address the ground at a self taper versus recutting into the black ground wire in the 7 pin.” NOTE: This is a paraphrase from the JL light install. Anyone know if the JL and JT trailer 7-pin is the same?
The photo or diagram did not show up.

Hmm...

Groupbuys are to give you first access to ordering and to give a bigger discount than a regular pre-order. This is done via the groupbuy coupon code that is valid for a live pre-order product. This is our thank you to the forum members that give feedback and contribute during our development stages.

We opened the groupbuy on March 5. You are correct; we offered this discount to the first 100 that used it. We ran out of this in about a day and received a slew of messages from forum members asking if they could join since it was gone so soon. Because of this, we extended it individually and then, opened it to more people. We were very transparent about this...look back in this thread and you will see our posts about it so I'm not sure where the conspiracy is there.

This was only posted here and on our vendor forum. If this was seen in any other place, this would have been a forum member that took it upon themselves to share it. I know that a member posted it to a very large Facebook group, which contributed to the surge of both groupbuy orders and regular pre-orders. Again, the groupbuy code is intended for forum members. If it's brought outside the forum by a member, there's not really much we can do there since it is live on our site.

The fact is...we launched a product that was even more popular than expected. Everyone will receive their orders, and I am certain that they will be worth any trouble you've experienced. Again, anyone is welcome to PM us their order information or any related questions we can help answer.

I'd need your order information PM'd to look in on your specific order if you don't see anything yet. ?

They came with the splice setup plugged in. just disconnect that and the harness will have new connectors to plug in to the lights

This is the only way I had enough wire. Exactly like this. When looking down from where the tail light is. Put the opposite side wire down the largest hole you see. It will drop down to where you can reach the other side wire.
