We want to know! We're curious what you guys are getting for MPG's in your Jeeps after you've installed your lift and bigger tires! Make sure to include some of the specs of your JT like Trim level, steel bumpers, hard or soft top, etc! Make sure you include how much lift you went with and what size tires you're running!

It doesn't have to be just using one of our lift kits either! In fact, you don't have to say what manufacturers lift you're running at all! We're just interested to hear about everybody's individual experience after your lift kit/tire install. This is a question we get asked a lot so I figured it could help a lot of you on here out if you're curious as well.

Feel free to include pictures if you'd like!

specs of your JT like 2 or 4 door,
I'm smiling because I haven't seen a 2 door JT yet. :)

I've got a 2.5" Long Travel Skyjacker kit, 4 doors, Steel bumper and 9.5 winch and 285s for now, and I'm getting about 16.1mpg city and 23.5mpg averaging 68-72mph. This is after reprogramming the system for the correct size tires using JScan. I've learned that being easy on take off with this motor is the secret to good gas mileage. Side note: I ran Clayton kits on my 02 TJ and loved it.

Since you asked...running 2.5" Clayton Offroad Overland Plus kit (and loving it ;)) with 35" tires. I did the tires first and lost about 1 MPG then added the lift and lost another. Overall averaging about 18.5 - 19 MPG doing mostly highway driving at 70 - 75 MPH.

2020 JT Rubicon 8-speed Auto, Skyjacker G250MSB 2.5”/1.0” lift (currently, but fixing to swap to Evo 2.5” front & JKS 1.5” rear springs), 20x10 -24mm MotoMetals, 37x13.50 Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71, Fab Fours Stubby, Warn 9.5Xp, Tazer JL Mini, & iDrive (U-7 Setting). Averaging 14.5-16.0 MPG (depending on driving type, conditions, & speed). Around 1,200 miles on it.

Brand new & 100% stock it was averaging ~12.5 MPG around town.

Also, my driving style would be considered aggressive.

17 mpg mixed driving on 37 inch toyo mt’s and two inches of lift with stock 4.10s. I baby it around town.

Will be interesting to see what the 4.88’s do when we finish the install next week. Also the clayton adjustable LCA’s we are putting on should improve smiles per gallon too.

I have done a lot of research on this. The Jeep carpewtur for MPG is so bad its a ballpark at best.
If the dealer flashes the pcm and a correction is used, such as tazer, the mpg can be off as much as 20 percent. This is my own data I am collecting from my trial and error. Many trucks are modified so the numbers can be all over the place.

The best way is the old school way. Use a corrected speedo tank to tank of gas divided by gallons pumped.

35's 2 inch mopar 3/4 inch spacer 3.73 12.8mpg all city. Carpewter mpg is showing 15.8

19.1 MPGs average based on computer and 19.7 with me doing the math on the last two fill ups and that's on 2.5" ReadyLift SST lift kit running BFG 315 70 17 KO2s with 1.75" wheel spacers. Rugged ridge spartan full width front bumper and Badlands Apex 12000lb winch. Before winch and bumper I was getting 18.3 so I gain almost 1 mpg since adding the bumper and winch 2 weeks ago.

Sitting with the jeep running really brings the MPGs down bit I'm please with what I'm getting. Mine's a Max tow with 4.10 gears and I haven't reset the computer since I recalibrated for the tires at 400 miles.

2" Synergy coil lift with BFG 315/70/17 on Procomp 7031 (-4 offset).

On a Sport w/ 3.73 gears and automatic trans, I'm getting 18mpg in town and 20mpg highway.

Dropped about 1mpg as compared to pre-lift and stock wheels.
