Back up camera glare from license plate lights

This was the main reason I bought a Tazer and it was money well spent. Easily one of the worst design decisions with the JT.

I have the Tazer that I did not even crack the box open.

It may sound weird. I really like the hardware bypass option and I happened to enjoy doing this type of work.

The 12 pin molex is to be inatalled between the tailight and its plug.

Judging from the ebay listing, there is a 4 way connector that leads to the license plate lights?

Does anyone have pin out for this 4 way connector?

I will keep accumulating info on this thread for everyone to use.

Pin 4 can power the relay. (Or acquire source from the license plate light)
Pin 5 will trigger the relay off.

Do you guys know source for general wiring diagram? Showing isometric view of it with connector pin outs in general for Gladiators?

Tazer can supposedly fix that. I’ll know later this month.

Yes it can, but its a "live" function and it requires you to leave your Tazer plugged in.

There is also a harness that runs off a relay that will "turn off" the tag lights when reversing.

Agreed... but sometimes easier said than done. Maybe there is a secret to searching the forum, I have attempted a forum search for many topics, usually coming up with nothing... then I do a Google or similar search and find 20+ references to the forum... just doesn't make sense... IMO searching within the Gladiator or Wrangler forums is practically useless... unless you know the trick... and I don't.

Yeah, you're better off searching Brave or Google and letting it lead you back here.

Anyone have parts list for all the connectors involves for the license plate light bypass?

Per what I can gather:
Molex 12 way male and female

License plate lights is a molex 34900-4120
Mating plug on vehicle is molex 34899-4080

Pins 2177610-3
Socket 7-145267-1

Can someone help me find the pin out diagram for the license plate light and rear light housing connector pin out?

You'll need the tail light connectors to tap into the reverse lights in addition to the parts you have listed already. Also a relay to cut the license lamps when the reverse lights come on.

5 is the backup light driver, 6 is the ground.
