Aux battery function with the computer and aux charging is separate from the main crank battery, it's a 3 party conversation. And the different features pull off of different batteries, like the ASS feature. Give me a wiring diagram for a '22 JTRD, I have one in my drivewayAnd what causes that if you don't even have the auxiliary battery?
It's simply a LOW VOLTAGE thing, not the aux battery.
If you don't drive it enough or long/far enough, often enough, the batteries get low - BOTH of them, and you'll get that message, even if you don't even have an aux battery.
I know that for a fact because my wife's Jeep has given that message and had low voltage messages, switches not available and so on. No aux battery in her Jeep.
Sorry, too much of what you read is just wrong or people assuming or angry there's such a battery.
Aux switches not available simply means LOW voltage. Nothing more or less, because they run from the main, too.
