I know some people won't be able to help themselves from leaving some kind of Chinese junk comment as if price is the sole indicator of quality and we should all just buy the most expensive thing in any category irregardless of any other consideration ever like we're the government... Have a blast.

With that out of the way, this bumper is junk as delivered. Rated for a 12,000 lb winch, has a 10,000 lb winch on it, in one pull warped itself about 2" up from level and twisted the winch so hard it may be beyond redemption as well.

If you're thinking of buying one, I'd take a hard pass, as I could have been seriously injured here and I really wouldn't want to see anyone get hurt or die using a product as intended.

Damn, that’s the same bumper I have. Looks like I maybe just need to fabricate one out of aluminum seeing as how I have a weld shop at my finger tips like a fat kid in candy land

So the winch sits ON the bumper and not on a winch plate that's bolted to the frame??? Yikes
There's nothing wrong with that per se, assuming the steel is the appropriate thickness and grade.

Which it would seem it is not, it's something I noticed while installing it, center section should really be 3/16-1/4 and this is like some weird, thinner thickness, 5/32 is what their website calls it.

Check your inbox.
Double check the Barricade docs/their site, rather than someplace like Extreme Terrain or AMZN.

FWIW, ET has listed:
"a built-in winch plate that is capable of supporting a 12,000 lb. winch.

Application. This Barricade Off-Road Trail Force HD Front Bumper with built-in 10x4.5" winch plate is specifically designed for use on 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator JT models."

"Built-in" means there is no extra piece that needs to be installed, and also should be constructed as a winch plate. Their fault.

Drilling 4 universal mounting holes in a steel plate does not a winch plate make.

I'm not trying to pile on but there is something to be said for the Chinese white box stuff out there not being to the spec claimed regardless of what part it may be. I do appreciate your warning to everyone and the forum should certainly take heed.

And no, you shouldn't default to the most expensive thinking its better. But if the company is an OEM supplier or a big player, you're more likely to get a better quality product than not.

Glad you weren't hurt in the process.

Well, ET is right, it probably supported the winch just fine, the owner just can't use the winch!

Maybe they can warranty it for something else or send a new one that can be beefed up beforehand. It sucks to have to do all that, though.

For me, I started a return and purchased a Fishbone bumper.

I don't trust this one and don't want to completely rebuild it.

Really sucks that your winch is also toast, don’t know how that is usable either, looks like your choice to walk away and return it is right, perhaps including your picture of the destroyed winch will make them quicker to give full credit.
Trust yourself, when you installed it you had some doubt, next bumper if any doubt do something about it. Thanks for posting this….Jack

My plate on my Warn bumper is part of the bumper, but it’s REALLY reinforced with 1/4” steel and extra brackets that attach the winch plate to the inside of the frame rails.
