This was my reality for 12 years as a factory mechanic. If nothing brakes you have a great night of coffee and poker or solitaire if your personality is as abrasive as mine was at 3am… shit hits the fan and your armpit deep in a gear box pulling shafts sprockets and chains out. Mag draging a gearbox so you don’t have to replace 150 gallons of gear oil…. Don’t miss that shit.

And then guys give me shit for taking my truck in to get the oil changed or basic maintenance done. Having spent 10 of those years working 12 hr nights on a 4x3 schedule doing pms and brake downs/ rebuilds on multi million dollar pieces of machinery I feel at this point in my life I’ve changed enough fucking oil ?!!
I am an electrician now and I just assume have some things done for me while I post nonsense on the internet hahahah
