Bigger tires, caster adjustments

I had 35x11.5x17 Toyo AT3’s installed last week. My Mojave is completely stock except for the larger tires. . I noticed a little more wander on the highway. I read that installing the mopar performance lower control arms can help with that because they are .25 inches longer. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks.

Before you throw parts at it, pressure in tires? If you have tar snakes on the road, heavy seams on the road, grooved concrete, your wider tires are going to react to all those.
But air pressure is a biggie. Get it down to around 32 psi cold and see how it does.

Yes, even on a Stock Mojave the longer Mopar lower control arms help. They are under $100 shipped and are easy to install. You do NOT need an alignment after installing them...
There is no downside to installing the longer mopar lower control arms, especially when they cost so little...

I have smaller tires and run 37 or so - you definitely are too high at 37 for that size.

yes, just do one at a time. and make sure both arms sit roughly equal in their respective perches. There's enough slack in the frame side mount perches that to can shove one side a bit further forward than the other and it won't track straight. I had to rachet strap my axle back to get mine right but its totally doable. easy way to check, there are massive washers on the frame side draw around them with a paint pen. then you have a reference to get it back too when putting the new arms in. tighten all bolts to 190 ft-lbs paint mark em and check em after a couple hundred miles. if they didn't move your golden. this should net you 6.2-6.8 degrees of caster depending on your ride height. mines 6.4 with a 3/4 spacer lift and mopar extended LCAs.

these will just get you more caster, which mean you'll track straighter in general and the truck will have a stronger return to center feel. They will not effect fitment of your stock wheel+tire package

So maybe a dumb question but I find the Mopar LCA for sale at $37.70 each and when I look on some of the various 4x4 web sites they are selling for upwards of $300 and $1000 for adjustable ones. What am I missing here with the Mopar performance LCA part# 68322798AA

There is ZERO adjustment in the MOPAR LCA's. So if you go bigger later, they will need to be replaced.

The bushings in "most " of the adjustable arms are better than OE Clevite bushings . That translates to less axle movement from the road surface, braking and so on . Soft OE Clevite bushings allow some slight axle movement which means more steering correction when driving even thought you may not notice it. It may only be slight but it will and you will notice the difference when you go to good bushings like a Johnny Joint in the front lowers in particular . Same goes for track bars with Johnny Joints . I can also tighten the arms when mounting them without the vehicle being on the ground with weight on it . That gives you more leverage for torque wrench work . I can fine tune my caster/pinion angle plus the arms are usually made much stronger . I use Johnny Joints on lowers and Metalcloak on uppers. I also don't have to loosen the control arms and let them reset any time I do something that effects ride height . It all comes at a price as there are 4 pairs to buy when you are done and good arms add up . By not doing adjustable or front geo brackets first on my JT and daughter's JL, I ended up with 2 sets of MOPAR extended arms and stock arms for conversation pieces in the garage. Thats mainly because I'm not willing to ship them , if you want to pick them up then we can talk..
