no, its all stock. I have not tried any serious offroading with maximum articulation, and i suspect if i do i could rub a fender. But in normal operation there is plenty of clearance. I am thinking about getting the 2.5 inch rough country lift for the front. All i think i really need is a one inch coil spring spacer for the front, and that would make the two wheel wells have the same amount of space in them.
Did the tires change your fuel economy or have any noticeable impact on gearing?

Damn you all! Those BFG's make a great looking difference I may have to upgrade in a couple weeks. I was using the excuse that I wouldn't pay for new rims for at least a year.

Today I installed a set of 275/65/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3wa (C rated) on my OEM Overland wheels. Same diameter and same sidewall height as OEM 255/70/18 tires just wider. So far so good, but I’ll report back after a few thousand miles.

I think the tires may have a significant impact on mileage. I am getting around 16 on mixed highway and city miles, which is a little worse than most folks who are reporting mileage. The gearing seems fine, I am sure the truck accelerates a little bit slower, but the truck drives and handles just fine.

the picture could be better, but this is what 35x12.5 BFG's look like on an overland stock rim. I love the way they drive, and they look bigger to me in person. I think the rim looks fine, and the tire doesnt look out of place on the stock rim. If i was buying new rims i would probably get 17's, and an inch wider so the 35's could have more volume, but using the stock rims saves some moolah.

Do you have any issues with these tires on the stock Rims? I think the rims are rated at 7.5. Right now I have 275/65/18. I am getting the 2.5 inch Mopar lift tomorrow and wanting to upgrade to the 35" tires but don't really want to get new rims.

I was wondering the same thing basically..

Is there any safety issue putting 12.5 wide tire on a 7.5 wheel ?

You can! Many have done it but some places may not mount them for you due to this. I just went ahead and got a rim to fit the new 35's and kept the JLU rims/tires together if I am going to sell them or put on the wifes JK.

35s on stock overland wheels with 1.5 spacers (there was rubbing on the right side at full lock) and 2.5” rough country lift/level kit.

Anyone throw on some bigger tires on the Overland wheels (with photos?:)

Was trying to decide if I want to put a bigger tire on the Overland wheel or pick up a set of Rubicon wheels.

Not sure the pros and cons of either except I do know that the 'street' tire of the Overland has to go.
Not a overland but I do have 18in rims and 35s

Update... I now have 20,000 miles on the Falken Wildpeaks. They have been “ok” and still have a fair amount of tread left. They were quiet and handled well in dry, wet, and light snow. I live where it’s very hilly and rarely take long highway trips therefore I usually averaged 16.5 MPG. When I buy a new set of tires I’m going to try BFG KO2s 275/70/18.

Been that route on my JKU Sahara. Put Cooper 33's on OEM rims. Cost $300 a tire. Bought a buddys JL Rubicon tire/rims for $1000. Now the spare has a good rim to do 5 tire rotation. ANd tires are cheaper in the future!!! And the plus is I like the rims better than the overlands

You don't see too many from my area,I will probably wait until the call and look for some when I go to Florida.
